Delicious Vegan Soups and More! - Edit
Recently had the Tomato Gazpacho - which was superb. Others soups offered were: Creole Rice and Bean, Curried Quinoa and Greens, Indian Spiced Lentil, Beet Gazpacho, Black Bean and Corn, Curried Eggplant Chickpea, Peach Gazpacho, and Watermelon Gazpacho
They also featured a number of salads: Mediterranean Chickpea, Spicy Kale Peanut, Roasted-Red-Pepper Hummus
For desserts they had Chocolate Chip Cookies and Rice Pudding!
The soups are consistently great. They are also certified Kosher. As others have noted, there is no where to sit down – so best to take the food to a nearby park (DuPont Circle is a five minute walk, as is Farragut Square).
Pros: Vegan, Kosher, Delicious
Cons: No seating

Great! - Edit
Picked up the lentil chickpea soup and the black bean ginger apricot salad at the CityCenter DC market. So delicious! Would highly recommend both of these items, and everything they had looked great! Also, I thought it was very reasonably priced at $10 for both.
Pros: Healthy!, Affordable, Convenient

Too bland. Nice server. Good energy. - Edit
Souper Girl's operating hours being so limited, I excitedly went out of my way to go there around two months ago when nearby during a business day. The server was so nice and gave me tastes of three soups. All were too bland, and would have been nice with some more of the right seasoning and maybe more garlic in one or more (totally fine not to add extra sodium).
I nevertheless chose the most tasty of the three and coupled it with the tasty corn bread. The energy is great here and I am cheering Souper Girl to better season it its soups. I feel I could make a nicer soup at home with little time and effort and no special ingredients.
Pros: The server was so nice. , The place feels like home, if small. , The energy is great.
Cons: Better seasoning is in order.

Great fresh healthy seasonal ingredients - Edit
I used to think some of Soupergirl's soups lacked salt or depth of taste, but I think that has changed because lately everything has been really flavorful and rich. I especially like her chunky soups. I love that you can sample them in-store. The only thing I don't like is the corn bread (very dry). Everything else is phenomenal. She's also very funny (I think she used to be a stand-up comedienne?) and her descriptions of the soups are very funny. I love how the soup options change depending on season.
