Soup Stock is a chain with shops located inside many stations, so it’s very convenient if you need a quick meal.

Since Ofuna doesn't have many vegan options, we're really reliant on fast food chains. Luckily there is a branch of Soup Stock Tokyo in the JR station behind the ticket gate. They rotate their soup and curry options throughout the year. My favorites are the Leek and White Kidney Bean Minestrone, Yellow Peas Soup, and Spicy Keema Curry with Bamboo Shoot and Soymeat. They have rice or a Stone Oven Baked Bread (石窯パン）option. They keep a binder behind the counter with the ingredient lists in English and Japanese and you can ask to look at it. They use real ingredients so it tastes like home cooking. The food comes out super fast. You can check the options on their allergen chart on their website.

Very Convenient and cheap - Edit
One of the few places to get something vegan in Ofuna. located within the station it’s very convenient. The veggie curry changes with the season. Veggie curry and minestrone are marked with a vg icon.
