Has separate vegan menu! - Edit
I enjoyed eating here, loved that they have a separate vegan menu with four different options. I opted for the plant-based burger, but wish I could come here again to try everything! Has a great music vibe and friendly service. No vegan desserts, so we opted for a nearby creamery featuring frozen chocolate almond milk desserts.

No more vegan menu - Edit
Under new ownership as of July 2024 and no longer has the vegan menu. The only vegan option was an expensive beet salad. I saw that they had a black bean burger on the menu but not sure if it’s vegan. The waiter suggested I go somewhere else, so I did. 🤷🏻♀️

Best vegan food in Sedona - Edit
This is one of the few restaurants in Sedona that has a full menu of plant-based options. The food and service are both very good.

Great options with a view but service is okay - Edit
Okay, I ate here a few times and could have adventured out but got the burger both times I ate here as it just sounded good to me those two days and their burger was really good. Drinks were not so good, the alcohol was like nonexistent and so we’re the waiters the first time we came. Second time the service was better. I asked for a side of their cashew cheese sauce to go with my burger (they have some beyond tacos with it) and it tasted like a thai curry sauce. Good but interesting for sure. I really enjoyed the hummus I will say! It was a bit grainy but I kinda liked it, my sister not so much. Either way, I say it was good overall with options as they had thai noodles, tacos, salads, burgers, nearly one of everything vegan! But the best part was probably the view!!

Vegan Menu - Edit
I love that they have a vegan menu! I've had the red beans and rice, tofu curry with noodles, and the french fries - all so good, still thinking about it! I don't make it to Sedona often but this is where I like to eat. Definitely sit on the patio.

Amazing View From Patio - Edit
Although they only offer a few vegan dishes, the friendly service, gorgeous view, and live music make this a truly lovely spot for dinner…especially when dining with omnivores. I had their hemp hearts salad with grilled tofu added to it. Very filling and fresh. They also offer a hummus plate and several veggie sides, including baked potatoes.

Live music, gorgeous patio views, vegan menu, and excellent food! Their beyond tacos were perfectly spiced and absolutely delectable. We enjoyed the chips & salsa and the rice/bean/tomato stew dish. The service was excellent too! This place has something for everyone!

They were out of the grilled veggie and pineapple skewers (from the plant based menu) so I went with the hemp hearts avocado salad. Listened to live music and took my time eating.

Feeling Ripped Off - Edit
The food was okay. Not exceptional. I've had better food at many restaurants one quarter the price. It cost us $1200 to feed our family of eleven, with most people ordering water, a couple sodas and no alcoholic drinks.
Read moreWe took the risk for Thanksgiving. They advertised $80 per person, but it was really $110 per person after all the hidden taxes, gratuities and fees. They charged us for an extra plate. Apparently they can't do math either.
You'd think paying $110 per person they'd give you a complimentary soda, which costs 20 cents for them to produce, but they charge you for everything.
Also the buffet didn't have any seafood other than salmon and its supposed to be a seafood restaurant?

Pros: Good chocolate, Good cake, Okay sweet potatoes
Cons: Charge for extras even when paying for buffet, Charge for extra plates that weren't ordered or ea, Overpriced

OK backup when the veg places are closed - Edit
Nice that they provide a few vegan options. The vegan Beyond Burger was a little on the dry and plain side, but at least they confirm that the bun is vegan, and it filled the void just fine when the local veg places were closed.

Sound Bites has quite a few vegan options. I love their vegan tacos, they were so flavorful. My non-veg friends loved their meal as well. We had great service from all of the staff here and will definitely come back when we visit Sedona again.

Good options - Edit
They had a whole plant based menu with a variety of options (you have to ask for the menu). It wasn’t anything outstanding but it’s nice to have a variety of choices that you know are safe to eat. The restaurant had a lovely view and had live entertainment the evening we visited. We also received good service.

A Whole Vegan Menu - Edit
This place was awesome!
Read moreThey have a massive vegan vegetarian menu!!
We came in for some drinks in the afternoon and ended up staying a few hours.
The staff, view, drinks, and bites were all nothing but amazing. As soon as we arrived our server was very honest about the menu and what his favorites were for food and drinks. He was great, i'm sad I didn't catch his name.
The view as in other reviews is amazing and even just to come here for a drink is a good idea just to see the view of Sedona and its beauty.
I highly recommend coming here as you will have a great experience.

Real Food Options! - Edit
Great views, great atmosphere, vegan options made with real food- not "soy protein isolate". Friendly service. Options were particularly welcome at a restaurant with "Grill" in the name! Usually will only offer beyond burger on a roll.

Vegan menu has no seasoning, distracted service - Edit
I was really expecting a lot more when I heard this restaurant had a separate vegan menu. I ordered the Grilled Portobello Mushroom with high hopes for it's $20 price. While the ingredients were quality, it tasted very much like it came from a chef who does not understand vegan food. It had zero seasoning, zero flavor. The potato and broccoli sides, the same. The broccoli served was straight steamed broccoli, no butter or oil, no salt, no flavor. While I appreciate ingredients in their natural state, when I'm dining out, I expect exciting, flavorful food. We were there during the day, off season, and were practically the only diners. The service was S L O W as everyone seemed to be setting up for an event that evening. I never even received the ice tea that I was billed for. The hostess was amazing though - super friendly and helpful!

Worthy of 5 stars - Edit
This restaurant has it going on! They have a separate menu for their vegan patrons, with so many delicious options it was hard to choose what to get! I ordered the minestrone soup and the organic golden beet salad. My husband ordered the veggie and bean stew. Everything we had was incredible. Food came out quick and the presentation was fabulous. Our server, Linda, was such a sweetheart. Would come back again and again!

This was definitely by far the best meal I've ever had at a non-vegan restaurant, better than even any vegetarian restaurants I've been to. They have a separate vegan menu with many options. There were so many options that I had a hard time deciding!
Read moreThe roasted portabella was absolutely delicious, piled high with zucchini, squash, peppers, green beans, and cherry tomatoes. They were all cooked to perfection with blending flavors and an amazing balsamic sauce. It wasn't greasy at all, but it also didn't taste like they were trying to be healthy. It was pretty much perfection on a plate.
Pros: Many options, Beautiful view , Delicious
Cons: Needed to ask for a lemon slice for the side of br

Not too bad, fun atmosphere - Edit
I appreciate that this place has a separate vegan menu - very cool. Be forewarned that the hummus platter does NOT come with pita bread - apparently that's not vegan. But it did come with two square chunks of feta. Um...yeah.
Read moreThe stuffed portobello entree was pretty and healthy, but I prefer more flavor in my food. The mushroom itself tasted like it had been steamed or something and the roasted potatoes seemed like they were roasted without olive oil and could've benefitted a lot from garlic and rosemary in my opinion. The steamed broccoli on the side is just that - steamed. If you want a veg that's sauteed with olive oil, get the green beans side - now that was yummy. The shoestring fries were also great but it's hard to go wrong with fries.
The service was a little slow because it seemed like the server had a lot of tables. There's a great view out to the red rocks though, and there's live music from 6ish to 9 every night which was nice.
Pros: Cleared marked vegan menu items
Cons: Need more flavor in some of the options
