My partner and I had the Mexi bowl and a vegan sandwich. They happened to be out of the vegan turkey, but were so accommodating and offered a grilled veggie sandwich as an alternative which was perfect for my partner who needed a milder option.
Read moreThe food was excellent, filling, and flavorful. For the vegan bowl you can select one of two kinds of plant-based protein, the Falaco (the chef's special which is falafel-based), or a Buckwheat Kasha. Both of these offer a unique twist on a bowl or taco option. I tried the Kasha which was delicious, and I want to go back to try the Falaco.
They are unfortunately no longer 100% vegan, but the chef and and menu are still very plant-forward.

The menu is dependent on the fresh ingredients they obtain. Each dish is made with care after you order it so it takes a little time, but the wait is totally worth it. We ordered vegan and there were several options to choose from. The sides were as flavorful and artful as the main dishes. We loved the mexi bowl and the tacos with sides of plantain and especially the fried green tomatoes side. The juices were also made fresh, the "green" had excellent flavor and energy. This is how food is meant to taste. One of the best soul food places we've tried ever. Underappreciated so spread the word.

Pleasant cafe small and personal. Chef Audy is friendly and knows a lot about good food. We both got tacos but with different fillings and sides. Everything tastes wonderful. So happy we found this place. Will be back as often as we can. Best vegan food we’ve had since Bartertown Diner closed in GR

Hidden Gem! - Edit
I ordered the Audy Burger with a side of Potato Salad and a carrot cake cupcake. All was fantastic. The burger was loaded and the sauces were creamy and delicious. The potato salad was rich and so tasty. The cupcake tasted like one you'd buy at a bakery. The chef is very friendly and helpful. 12/10 recommend, and I'll definitely be stopping here once a week for my lunch break!

Just Amazing!!! Must try! - Edit
I found this cafe via the Happy Cow app. There were zero reviews, but I’m always up for an adventure so I decided to try it anyway. I’m soooooo glad I did. The cafe is small and is situated in a small space in a large building. However, it was very easy to find. I wish I would have asked the lady her name, but she was a sweetheart and helped me decide what to order. I ordered a seasonal smoothie, jackfruit tacos and a vegan brownie. All of it was so great, especially the tacos!!! My kids also loved the brownie. The only con was that there were date seeds in the brownie which i would have removed prior to making.
