Great culinarily experience - Edit

The presentation of the food was beautiful, and it tasted very very good. We had the tofu and mushrooms, the ribollita, turnip greens and the mixed salad followed by ice cream (chocolate/tobacco, vanilla/lime and pistachio) for dessert. Drinks were a little expensive (we had tea).

The staff was attentive and friendly. The menu was in Italian but the pictures on the tablets helped and the staff spoke English.

An industrial chic vibe, patrons were dressed smart casual. Not just a good vegan restaurant but a good restaurant that just happens to be vegan.

Pros: atmosphere , quality of the food, friendly service

Cons: a bit pricey

Perfect for a *Fine* dining experience! - Edit

This is the best restaurant I have ever been to. If you want to have a fancy dining experience then this is the place for it, as it is quite expensive for the portion sizes but the taste and creativity of their dishes is absolutely amazing. It is evident that they have experimented a lot with their dishes to get them to the standard they are, and they use really unique and good quality ingredients rather then serving ‘generic’ vegan meals. I would recommend if you haven’t got a tight budget!

Pros: creative, delicious flavours, good service

Cons: small portions, expensive

way too pricey - Edit

Went in without reservation and said they were fully booked, when we checked online on a reservation website and they had space. They finally sat us down. Ambience is super cozy, but unfortunately the ordering on tablets and tv with pictures of the food hanging really cut the whole cozy ness. Not a fine dining at all, just good food but way too expensive. €10 for a nice €15 for a salad and €35 for brunch. On top, of you want to have brunch the whole table has to have brunch, with I find a bit ridiculous. A part from this food was good but definitely not worth the money. 2 appetisers, 2 salads, one bottle of water (filled tap) for €60

Pros: cozy ambience, all vegan menu

Cons: order on iPad, TV hanging, a bit pretentious

good but improvable - Edit

I must admit that my expectations on this restaurant were very high. The place is very nice, the menu is varied but not very clear, the quality is excellent and the prices too high (but HEY! This is Milan… so). The staff is way too present, they are constantly around you and they constantly asking if you need anything else. Too much! my opinion is good but work on prices and staff. I’m not sure that I’ll be back soon.

Pros: atmosphere , location, food quality

Cons: pricy , staff, aircon

very good - Edit

This is fine dining vegan food. So if you don’t like your food pretentious don’t dine here!
If you do it’s a lovely experience, and a good treat while in the city. The atmosphere is cool and modern. You order your food on an iPad and the food is very tasty.
For a special occasion this place is really nice. For day to day it may be a little too ‘over done’.

Great idea - Edit

Love the atmosphere of this place! Knowing how italians think about food, I was a bit hesitant at first, but turns out, everything really is plant based! I was so happy to try this place. Prices are aligned with other restaurants in this area of Milan.

Go there, but make reservations.

Pros: Plant based food, Fresh, Easy to order with the tablets

Cons: Crowded, High price due to location

Pricey but worth it - Edit

Great atmosphere and food at this popular all vegan restaurant. The dishes are quite expensive compared to other Milan options but this is definitely an upscale place. Presentation and taste are great and the restaurant itself is beautifully decorated. Worth a try.

Its ok! - Edit

I went there for dinner and I was lucky to be seated, as they were almost fully booked. My advice would be making reservation before going. I wasn't really satisfies with the menu. I choose to eat salad, as this dish would be one of the only ones without any carbs like rice, quinoa and noodles and it was ok. Nothing spectacular. The menu wasn't exciting for me, as most food would be normal vegan food from other cuisines like Japanese, Mexican and Thai or Lebanese. I think its nice place to try, but I didn't enjoy this place as much and I wont go back. I also tried their cheesecake too, and I have to say, that I prefer cheesecakes from Raw Mantra over Soulgreen. Anyway, this is only my opinion and my experience. ;))

Very nice design, the food is just OK - Edit

High class vegan restaurant, the place and the dishes were very nicely decorated (maybe even over decorated... ) . The food was OK but not the best we had in Milan especially with regards to the price.

Cute if you have the Cash - Edit

SOULGREEN is a young, hip place with plants hanging from the ceiling and ipads for menus. It's located in the eco-friendly section of Milan and certainly fits into it's surroundings.

The menu is extensive with lots of soups, bowls, salads, juices, desserts, etc. All of them are healthy and all are photogenic. The food itself is nice enough but they definitely focus on looks rather than taste. The dishes are pricy for what you get. If you're visiting Milan for a short amount of time and want something fancy, I'd recommend Joia over SOULGREEN but if you're staying for longer and want somewhere with a hip vibe, SOULGREEN's your place.

Pros: cool vibes, friendly staff, photogenic meals

Cons: average taste, expensive

Good healthy food but over priced - Edit

We stumbled across this place as it was within walking distance of our hotel, north of Milan city centre.

After eating lots of pizza and pasta we were delighted to find somewhere focusing on fresh and healthy dishes.

Food was very good, would especially recommend the Mexican bowl.

The interior was well decorated and I got the impression it's very new. The staff could not be faulted and were great at explaining the menu, how to order etc in near perfect English.

However, there are no prices online and we couldn't see a menu displayed outside so we got a bit of shock when we sat down and saw that most of the mains were about 20 euros, with juices costing 10 euros and smoothies 12 euros.

The burgers were a bit cheaper at 15 euros but we went for the Mexican bowl (22 euros) and the Lebanese bowl (20 euros).

We decided to also go for a juice so one drink and two mains set us back 52 euros which made it easily one of the most expensive meals we've had on several trips to various countries in Europe over the last few years.

The food was very good though, undoubtedly freshly made with great flavours. The portion sizes are also generous so we felt full just having a main each and didn't look much at the deserts (you can see the full menu on their website but without prices).

Overall the only let down was the prices. I would recommend Soul Green but with caution as if you are on a tight budget it could be too costly. If you are looking for some healthy vegan food and don't mind splurging then this is a great choice.

Pros: All vegan , Tasty, healthy food , Excellent staff

Cons: Expensive , Not very cental
