Excellent

They serve classic Austrian food. It was really delicious, especially the beet tartare.

One of the few with vegan Austrian cuisine

On my trip to Vienna I really wanted to eat Austrian food - which somehow wasn't too easy! One place just closed down two weeks before my arrival, another opens only in the evening. So naturally I had my eyes on Soula, however, everytime I felt like eating, there were no open spots for reservation - at least according to their website. So at some point I just gave it a try and went there despite the lack of reservation. To my surprise there were plenty of free tables - apparently they had just rearranged their furniture and opened the outdoor area, so I assume the reservation form on the website was out of date.
Long story short: don't be discouraged by their website, just go there or call beforehand if you want to be sure.

And now about the food: I had a Kaiserschmarrn, a traditional dish i know from skiing and hiking in the Alps. I had to find out that the original recipe requires caramelising the dough, which is usually not done in the mountains. Again here the point being: for me personally, it was way way wayyyy too sweet. But apparently that's how it's supposed to be ;)

Pros: Vegan Austrian cuisine, Beautiful outdoor area, Nice staff

Mega

Sehr gutes Essen. Eine kleine Speisekarte mit einer schönen Auswahl. Freundlichs Personal. Das Ambiente ist schön und klassisch. Die zum Teil offene Küche gibt direkte Einblicke in die Zubereitung.

Austrian Cuisine veganised 🩷

Typical Austrian Cuisine but make it vegan - amazing.
Especially the Kaspressknödel are a highlight, which we can only recommend.
Also the "Schwein gehabt" and "Zwiebelrostbraten" are delicious and definitely remind one of Sunday lunch at Grandma's.
All together a really nice restaurant with great food and zero alcohol drinks.🫶🏻

Vegan and non-alcoholic

I love this place. There should definitely be more non-alcoholic restaurants. The food was amazing. I had gulash with dumpings. Probably the best dumplings I ever had. But I'd prefer more of them because there was too much seitan for this amount of dumplings.

good food, beautiful location, very friendly and attentive staff

i went to soula with my mum last week, didn't make a reservation and although it was very busy, we were accomodated within a few minutes.
the server was really friendly, very fast and food came within a few minutes (even though it was packed, as mentioned before).
the food was really good: we had the wiener saftgulasch (small and large portion) and a cheesecake. all of it tasted great and is worth the price.
since the restaurant had only been open for a few days, the server kindly asked us for our feedback and underlined that we should be very honest because they are still changing things around. i thought that asking for feedback like this was admirable and i really appreciate it!
all in all, a great experience! :)

Pros: friendly staff, good food, beautiful location

A dream

Litschi Spritzer 7€
Beef Tartare 13€
Mac'N'Cheese 17€
Semmelknödel 2,50€
Ketchup 1,50€
Palatschinken Marillenmarmelade 4,50€ (free?)

Vegan, alcohol free, international yet an austrian flair - perfect.
I'm not exaggerating. The tartare was so flavourful, the egg yolk flawless. The mac was so creamy and cheesy. The dumpling might be a little too moist for others, I loved it.
The dessert showed as 0€ on the bill, not sure if it's a menu discount or if there was another reason. Either way, the pancake took me right back to my childhood. Made without eggs yet so soft and squishy.

I loved EVERYTHING here! The staff is super kind.
