De las pocas opciones que hay en Ávila - Edit
Hemos comido allí hoy porque realmente no hay mucho más donde elegir. El restaurante es agradable y el servicio es amable. Tienen varias opciones vegetarianas: bruschetta de aguacate, humus, patatas fritas con salsa "picante", espaguetis de calabacín, alcachofas, gyozas de verduras y una hamburguesa de falafel en pan de pita.

La experiencias, en general, ha sido buena aunque si volviera a Ávila, probaría otras cosas y repetiría la alcachofa sin duda.

Edited 02/24: 3 vegan dishes: gyozas, falafel burguer and hamburger (specify WITHOUT Salsa Ranchera when ordering). Hummus got some egg. Very friendly staff and great Elvis Presley music sounding at reasonable volume

They had 1 or 2 vegan starters as well as a vegan Falafel Pita on the menu. The pita comes with chips (think crisps), which were cold but looked housemade. The food was fine and I was happy that I found something to eat, but it wasn't anything special.

We went here because it was the highest rated place on happy cow in Ávila. I was very hungry and it did not disappoint.
Read moreThe menu had items with veganos in the title, which translates to vegan in Spanish. This was helpful. There were other vegan menu items which weren’t labeled however, and the waitress helped us out despite the language barrier. She had a good understanding of what vegan meant as she offered us the falafel plate without cheese.
The food was very good overall, but my judgement may have been impaired because I was hungry. Soul Kitchen is seemingly an oasis in this small town. In fairness to Ávila I haven’t tried other places yet.
It was a bit expensive.

Tallarines de calabacín muy sabrosos y originales, estaban bien hechos pero sin quedar blandengues. La salsa de pesto rojo estaba muy rica se notaba que era casera. Buena cantidad. Un plato estupendo de falafel lo, muy buena cantidad, las verduras eran frescas y sabrosas, las patatas muy ricas y caseras. El falafel estaba estupendo. Las salsas resultaban frescas y con buena textura(tsaziki de yogur de soja y veganesa de aguacate).

Restaurante en el centro, con encanto y personal inmejorable, se puede entrar con perros y les tratan muy bien , la carta tiene bastantes referencias veganas y riquísimas , además se ofrecen a veganizarte casi cualquier plato q tienen . Para repetir sin duda!!

I was afraid of trying this place because of all the bad reviews, but after finding 0 restaurants to have a decent lunch after a full day of walking around Ávila under the sun I decided to give it a try.
Read moreThe menu is clearly labeled and has about 4-5 options within the appetizer and main course sections. I was obviously skeptical but the waitress was very reassuring and knew what she was talking about. I feel like this is currently the only place in Ávila where you can enjoy a full vegan meal.
I had the zucchini tagliatelle with red vegan pesto and the soul bravas.

Clearly a popular busy place on the weekends. The falafel sandwich was good. Interesting take on hummus which had an egg on the top. Tomato and cheese salad was different. Friendly staff, although rushed.

Después de un par de días pateando Ávila y alrededores nos decidimos a probar a cenar en este lugar. Y sería genial que hubiera un lugar 100% vegano, pero los propietarios eran encantadores y serviciales. El mejor sitio donde he comido estos días.

Mijn dochter is vegetarisch en als gezin met ook vleeseters hier heel goed gegeten. Er zijn voldoende vegetarische opties, mooie, hippe ambiance en attent personeel. Het was genieten voor het hele gezin.
