there's actually 2 locations.
the other one sits between armagh and gloucester

Soul Food, New Regent St

Trendy eating place in stylish New Regent St. Similar to Soul Food, High St offering great cafe food and coffee. Cenral location.

22 New Regent St (Between Armagh and Gloucester Sts)

Opening hours: Monday - Saturday 8.30-4pm

simple and tasty - Edit

Visiting NZ and walking around for hours, we were starving. We walked into a little bunch of stores and saw a nice looking cafe and decided to try it. There were vegan sandwiches and pasta and salad. We did not expect much except decent food. We both had the vegan sandwiches offered (2 totally different sandwiches) with salad on the side and coffee. The little hole in the wall was relaxing, tasty, and very much worth the money.

Pros: food, atmosphere

Delicious cafe food, including some mock-meat options, like the yummy BLT, and serves good hot drinks and organic juices etc. Also has a nice courtyard area when its sunny. Loved it.

Pros: healthy food, outdoor seating, friendly staff

Cons: small inside, a little pricey
