I really like the food of Soul Cocina, and had it at a few events. It is always very good and different than the Latin food you'd typically get at a restaurant.

Pros: Unique, Delicious

Cons: A little expensive for the amount of food

Pop Up Pleasure - Edit

I've had the pleasure of eating Soul Cocina on three occasions at Triangle VegFest monthly markets and a pop up dinner. My favorites are their breakfast/ brunch options and gnocchi and ceviche. And the churro chocolate sauce is beyond amazing. Everything is vegan and wonderful with a South American flair...not spicey just full of flavor. Check Facebook to find where they will be next!

Pros: All vegan, Familiar food done in a special way I could never , Churro chocolate sauce

Cons: No permanent restaurant location

This is more pop up style. Search Facebook for their upcoming events, like monthly appearances at the Veg Fest market at Fullsteam in Durham. Sometimes they are at Farmers markets in the area so just look around for where they will be.

Excellent and affordable food! Home cooked quality with a Latin American flair. Arepas are excellent.
