Soul Bowl Truly Lives Up to Its Name - Edit
We had such a lovely family brunch at Soul Bowl today. The atmosphere was calm, welcoming, and beautifully presented from the moment we walked in.
Read moreI had the Buddha Bowl with quinoa, which they kindly cooked especially for me, along with a soothing chamomile tea. Everything tasted fresh, colourful, and full of flavour. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the Vegan English Breakfast with a Vanilla Frappe, while our four-year-old was over the moon with the pancakes, berries, and strawberry milkshake.
What really elevated the experience was the service. The team were genuinely attentive, accommodating, and made us feel looked after throughout our visit. It’s always refreshing to find somewhere that caters so thoughtfully while serving food that’s both nourishing and delicious.
We’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommended for anyone looking for wholesome food, excellent service, and a relaxed family-friendly atmosphere.

Thank you HappyCow for alerting me to this new gem in Leyton! What a find! It is one of those rare places where I want to eat the entire menu because everything looks so good. In the end, I opted for a rainbow salad bowl with extra tofu, while my daughter had a burger with a side of fries. Both meals were fantastic. Portions were generous and everything tasted delicious. In fact, the portions were so generous that my daughter couldn't finish her burger, which was lucky for me as I got to try it. It was a wonderful home-made bean burger with just the right amount of spice and plentiful accompaniments. Meanwhile the salad bowl was perfectly seasoned and everything was so fresh and tasty.
Read moreWe came hungry so managed to squeeze in dessert. I had the chocolate orange cake (it was so good!), we shared a carrot cake, and my daughter was given a complimentary croissant which she loved.
She also had a fresh and tasty green smoothie.
Everything was as wholesome and nutritious as it was delectable. This is proper food. The ambiance was good, the service was attentive and friendly, and the food came as quickly as you could reasonably expect given that everything was freshly made. Given both the quality and quantity of food it was outstanding value for money.
I have absolutely no regrets about my menu choices but want to try lots of other things so will definitely be back! Already looking forward to my next visit! Even if you're not local to the area, this place is worth a detour. (Also worth mentioning that they do various events including board games, international cuisines etc, plus an afternoon tea that I can't wait to try! Bear in mind that they close at 6pm on weekdays and 7pm at the weekend so come here for lunch rather than dinner.)

I came here for an afternoon of boardgames and lunch. I enjoyed the fresh and colourful bowl and tofu side dish. I also had a lovely sweet and warming chai and half a slice of coffee walnut cake. The cake slice was a very generous portion and had a lovely strong coffee taste.

I made a trip on a Tuesday at midday and they were closed, even though opening hours said they should have been open. Went and had lunch elsewhere. Passed by on way home and saw it was now open, so went in, and was told they open at 11.30 am (they definitely had not been that day). Paid £9 for two take away muffins, which were frankly awful. Dry, tasteless and stale. Absolutely shocking price!

I went for high tea at Soul Bowl with a friend, and we had a great experience. The food was delicious, but we couldn't finish it all! We also had unlimited tea, I had chamomile and my friend had peppermint tea. The only downside was the noise from the restructuring work going on next door, which was the old Barclays Bank, but that couldn't be helped.
