Vegan soba - Edit
It's a small restaurant, counter seats only and they provide places to put small bags, coats underneath table.
Read moreI ordered vegan soba brown noodles with a smoothie and paid 1350yen.

It’s not vegan ramen! - Edit
I saw this post!
Read moreI guess some people already know that Soranoiro (ソラノイロ)'s Veggie Soba is NOT vegetarian but I decided to share it here so that vegetarians (or maybe even vegans) won't misunderstand.
Although it doesn't have any vegetarian or vegan signs on the menu and a ticket machine, their product description on website says their veggie soba's "noodle, soup and toppings are all made from vegetables". Yesterday, I emailed them to confirm whether it contains animal products or not and they basically told me that their veggie soba contains butter and shell extract since 2018.
Personally I felt their description is vague and misleading (both in Japanese and English), so I have already asked them to edit their website and make signs for the menu and the ticket machine saying veggie soba contains (butter and) shell extract. The company promised me to make signs (and may edit their website) by next few days.
I'm just writing here to warn some vegetarians (or vegans) still think that their veggie soba is vegetarian (or even vegan).
About their some vegan noodles, they're clearly labeled vegan so please don't worry and enjoy their noodles! :)
Thanks for reading!
*the picture is from their website, but I added the text to tell it's not vegetarian*

Tasty and filling - Edit
There are now two vegan options, clearly marked on the menu. The ramen I had was tasty. It contained several vegetables, a few grains of barley with pesto, etc. It was very unusual, but clearly made with care. The staff understood the word vegan, and showed me how to use the ticket machine to order. There were also several non-vegan vegetarian options.

Read moreThis ramen shop is originally from Tokyo. This branch in Nagoya has 2 vegan options, a vegan veggie soba noodles and a gluten-free vegan version.
The soup base is made with carrot puree. It’s a good combination of sweet and savory. On top are an abundance of veggies like mushrooms, sweet potato, tomato, salad leaves, etc.
Overall it’s a delicious vegan option near Nagoya station.
Pros: Tasty vegan soba, Convenient location near Nagoya station

The number of vegan options here are very limited, but the one vegan “ramen” is delicious! It has unique flavors, unlike most ramen in Japan.

Delicious noodle soup - Edit
As others have said this is more of a generic noodle soup than a ramen, so don’t expect salty/umami flavours, but the dish is very tasty in its own right!

Tasty ramen dish - Edit
They offer one vegan dish at 1100 yen. It mainly contains vegetables and noodles. I mostly tasted carrot. Even though it's not reminiscent of traditional ramen, it tastes very good and it's worth a try.

Is it really ramen? Ok vegan noodle - Edit
When you eat ramen, you expect it is ramen taste. Well done for vegan noodle. This noodle is very unique by chef’s creativity. But i can’t tell it is ramen. You still can make ramen with vegan recipes. It is not soy sauce, or salt, or miso base at all. Too much sweetness in this noodle, not really balanced taste. Sorry, i make better vegan ramen which you can call ramen.

Delicious Ramen - Edit
They serve one vegan and one gluten free ramen. Green smoothie and salad seem also to be vegan suitable. You have to order at a vending machine and obtain a number. Vegan Ramen tasted super fresh and spicy. I loved it. The red noodles contained red peppers.

They offer a vegan and vegan+gluten-free noodle dish. I found it really tasty. It’s vegan and not trying to be a vegan supplement for of something else - so it’s quite unite in taste.

Delicious - Edit
The vegan ramen was delicious! Not your typical salty ramen, but a slightly sweet taste of fresh vegetables. I believe the "noodles" were spiralized carrots, with some whole grains, perfectly ripe grape tomatoes, dressed with arugula. The broth contains soy milk which gives it a sweet flavor. It is outstanding! My non vegan friend fell in love with it too. It came with yuzu sauce if one wanted it hot. The staff was very pleasant and helpful with the vending machine and provided an English menu. I wish I could create this at home!

Vegan and vegetarian ramen available - Edit
As said by others, it’s not like most ramen... a bit sweet. Lots of veg, no protein. English menu available inside. There are separate vegan and veggie ramen dishes. You have to pay at the vending machine.

Tasty, but not quite ramen... - Edit
I went here twice as it was the only open thing within reasonable distance of where I was. As the pictures and others suggest, the broth is a vegetable soy milk blend which is hard to liken to standard ramen.
Read moreThere is basically one vegan option, and you can choose to up the vegetable toppings by 50% or the noodles swapped with brown rice ones for a fee. While the broth is rather rich, I'd recommend either extra (or both?) for a more filling meal.

Cons: Only one option, No free seconds of noodles like some places

Great for vegetable lovers. Unfortunately no Tofu or similar added. Gluten free brown rice available. If there are other customers sitting next to you, it might smell a bit fishy if they order non veg. But all in all convenient and quite tasty. Also has three stores in Tokyo, check their website for addresses. 4/5

Top marks - Edit
Vegan ramen in Nagoya, unbelievable! As someone who is slowly searching for the best vege ramen in Japan I'm delighted to have found this place (2nd best I've had). The vegan ramen was hearty and delicious. The flavor was fantastic, it included pinenuts and some wholesome veges, the tomatoes tasted fresh as ever. Unlike the vege ramens I've had before. My Japanese is limited but think the broth is carrot based though it tasted like a good healthy combo of stuff. No flavour was lost on the vegan noodles and I'm pretty sure Yuzu sauce was what came served on the side of the bowl. Price is very very reasonable. The restaurant is on the 4th floor of the building and the vending/ticket machine clearly labels the vegan ramen option. Such a great and rare spot to find in Nagoya.
