Very vegan friendly

I’ve been here a few times already, they are great. Very vegan friendly, they’ll gladly accommodate other dietary restrictions too. Good food, good portions, everything is made with care and it shows. They’re right in downtown Batalha, a few steps from the monastery, so it’s a nice destination for sightseeing and a good lunch.

Knowledgeable staff

I had the chili with rice and side salad. The chili was good and filling.
The atmosphere is comfortable, but sleek. The menu has a vegetarian section with two vegan options and a soup of the day which was vegan, along with some salads. The server spoke English well and knew what was vegan and not, and why.

Pros: Nice staff, Good food

Cons: A little expensive
