Cheap and cheerful Chinese - Edit
I usually end up getting takeaway from this place for dinner when I am too lazy to cook. It's small and cosy but not that comfortable for eating in.
Read moreThe wait staff at this branch speak good English - almost all their items are vegan.
They also have a branch near Wan Chai station, with the same menu.
The food is simple, nothing outstanding, but it's good value for money. I like the string beans with mince (and rice), and the aubergine dish (with rice). The wraps are basic but fine (need to check with them about sauces for vegan). I liked the soup of the laksa but really don't like the texture of the vegan fish balls.
Pros: decent value, quick

Hole in the wall with a few seats. Wide menu including pasta and wraps as well as Chinese set menu. Ok, but nothing special. Very good English spoken!

Lovely service with an English menu if required. Food was so delicious I forgot to take a photo. We had the potato skins, buffalo chicken wrap as well as the pasta which was very tasty. Highly recommended if you are in the Fortress Hill area just across the road from the train station in Boat Street.

This place has a small menu of 7 or 8 Chinese dishes server with rice and also some western offerings such as pasta, wraps, pumpkin soup. I had the pumpkin soup followed by fried red cabbage and some kind of mock meat with rice. Pretty good for 43 hkd.
