Although not fully vegan when you open the menu the first page is all vegan and then you have to turn the page to see the meat options. Black bean burrito was gorgeous, little under seasoned but went down easy

Didn't Warn Me that 1/2 C. Mushrooms is $9.50 - Edit
I used to love this place. The server charged $9.50 to just have 1/2 cup of mushrooms added to my lettuce salad (but they did make it clear after the bill came out, that the 1/2 c mushrooms was super fancy and gourmet and told me it was a large portion--about 3 cups--ie, told me I was wrong about the amount of mushrooms I got). The server got a manager, who was even more unreasonable, inconsiderate, and just plain rude. They gave me no refund. They did not care that they would offend other vegans and seemed glad this would prevent vegans from coming in the future.

Literally the worst place for vegan options in Ogden. I’ve been giving them the benefit of the doubt for nearly a decade but I just think they need to know the truth. Their vegan options are DISGUSTING. It's like a clove fairy vomited all over my taco salad. Please do better. You can do this. I believe in you, boo. It's not hard.

The atmosphere is lively and it has a big city feel.
Our only con is that the waitress seemed to be trying to turn our table over quickly. When we were only halfway through our meals, she asked us if we wanted to go boxes or desserts. It was very odd timing and then she kept hovering as if she wanted us to leave.

Dedicated Vegan Dishes - Edit
I love that they are one of the few restaurants that have a dedicated vegan menu. There are even more items in their website. I ordered avocado tacos, and I asked server to find out if they were vegan because they weren’t identified as vegan on the menu like other items. I don’t think she understood there was a difference between vegan and vegetarian. They had a breading in them so I still question whether they are truly vegan.

We were driving from Ohio to Oregon and drove through Ogden looking for lunch. I found this restaurant online and was very pleased to see they had a huge vegan menu. My daughter and I were both torn between the vegan black bean burrito and the crispy avocado tacos, so we ordered both and split them. The black bean burrito was very good - huge and filling with a generous side of guac. The tacos were unique in a great way! Loved the sauce for them. We got an extra side of rice and beans (comes with tacos but not burrito). With two meals, a Coke, and the rice and beans our total was only $35. We also enjoyed the chips and salsa. Our food came out super quick! I don't imagine I'll be in Utah again but if I am, I'll happily stop here again. So happy we stopped by!

The food here was delicious! I have a dairy and gluten allergy. We told our server and he promised to make it clear to the kitchen. The appetizer of large chips, salsa, and fresh guac was awesome. We had the black bean tostada and vegan fajitas, they were wonderful and fresh. I also enjoyed a virgin pina colada. Felt great afterwards, experience was awesome!

Dedicated vegan/vegetarian section on menu with great selections. Had the avocado tacos which were amazing and my husband had the fajita burrito which was also excellent, nice big chunks of mushrooms.

Vegan -I have to disagree - Edit
Although they say they are vegan options there is no way due to my daughter having an allergy to dairy and became sick after eating the Vegan Quesadilla. The rest of us felt ill as well but not like her. Very disappointed because it did have good flavor.

Refreshing to see a dedicated vegan menu, though I found it necessary to clarify and confirm no cheese on things. The kids menu was easy to veganize, too, my daughter loved her bean burrito with side of rice. The guacamole was divine, though they use a lot of cilantro on everything so make sure to specify if that's a problem for you!

We have has a great experience every time we have been here. The avocado tacos with the little bit of pineapple sweetness are probably my favorite item on the menu. The service is always great and the environment is calm, beautiful and clean.

Sonora is maybe the first place in Ogden to have a full vegan menu. This is important to me because it tells me that they understand what vegan is and that I don't have to rely on confused servers and cooks to figure it out. The restaurant is nice. The food is good but I sometimes feel like it's lacking a bit of spice or something. And I'm not one of those dudes who loves spicy.

Check out their menu! It has 5 vegan main dish menu items! It also has non-alcoholic margaritas that they say are vegan. The food is very, very good! The prices are high but it is worth the price.

Favorite Mexican in Ogden! - Edit
I love this place. My family spends a lot of birthdays and special occasions here. My favorite is their Pineapple Tacos with a side of the coconut rice. Excellent margaritas as well! Beautiful building. Ask for their Habanero salsa if you like it super spicy!

I love going to Sonora Grill because they're one of the only restaurants that has a separate vegan menu. I always get their Vegan Black Bean Burrito because it's hands down the best thing on the menu. My only problem is that I probably go there too much.. anytime anyone needs a restaurant suggestion I always suggest Sonora Grill. Their food is delicious and I don't have to worry about non-vegan foods coming anywhere near my vegan burrito. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

One of our favorite restaurants. Have a dedicated vegan menu (you can add cheese for vegetarian dishes) and all the options are excellent. Fairly upscale, really nice decor and atmosphere (although at times the music is loud). The food is outstanding. Your flesh-eating companions will love it also. Highly recommend!
