Large portions but good!

A bit of a queue, go up and get a number then wait outside and they’ll call it (in Korean obviously)
We don’t speak any Korean or English so basically presented the little note we’d prepared (we’re vegan, no meat etc) and the staff picked out what we could order, no mods necessary. We got the eggplant rice, mapo tofu and garlic bok choy, which proved too much for the two of us. I really liked the eggplant, probably would reach for that one again. Also beer bottles are for two. Nice authentic meal and good value for money.

Good affordable food, veggie options

Good Chinese food. Felt authentic, the service was fast, and the prices very affordable. Some dishes can be on the spicy side. Our Chinese-speaking friend asked and confirmed that the first noodle dish on the menu is vegetarian (likely some of the other mains too, but we didn’t ask).

We also tried the fried eggplant. Once it arrived, we thought we could taste fish sauce, though we didn’t ask to confirm, so we’re not completely sure.

We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table, but it was a Saturday evening, so that’s understandable. The waiting system is very organized, you take a number and wait until your table is ready.

Can be very very spicy!!!

We had the bibim noodles and the noodles with tomato and egg.
The latter was quite basic but still tasty, the former though was super spicy, brinking on inedible for two europeans with untrained palettes. It has to be said however that it WAS very yummy after we got used to it and the smell was phenomenal!!
Also some of the servers don't know english, however those that do speak it were super nice😄

Huge, delicious dishes

I recommend coming here with a friend, as the dishes are very big. After consulting with the nice non-Korean waiter who spoke English, I ordered the spicy stir-fried tofu and the eggplant rice. Both were amazing, not painfully spicy but I was tearing nontheless. You get salty fried peanuts and sweet root pickles for appetizers and they refill it for you when you finish. It ended up being way too much food and for the first time in a long time I just couldn't finished. I had one fruit before coming there which perhaps made a difference.

Pros: Nice English speaking waiter taking care of me., The waiter expressed my wishes to the chef.

Cons: Might be hard without that waiter, To get both protein and veggies you need 2+ dishes, 2+ dishes are a lot of food. Better to share

Delicious noodles

I ordered the bibimmyeon(noodles), mapu tofu (not pictured) and the fried eggplant. They also mentioned that they can make any dish vegan upon request. The noddles were the best dish so far.

Delicious Chinese Food with vegan option

Songhwasansi Dosakmyeon is very famous Chinese restaurant in Seoul. They have some vegan options as China has vegan possible menu itself. You will love it if you love Chinese foods.
