Amazing vegan options and staff - Edit
This is my local haunt and the staff here are so accommodating. I have eaten here so many times! As they know I am vegan, they offer me alternate options to their specials when I visit without me even asking.
Read moreI love the dukkah tofu salad! They have a limited range of sweets but what they have are tasty. My fave dish is the vegan breaky bowl. They have pasta options, burger options, vegan anitpasto platter and a few salad options.
Lovely place to bring the dogs and relax in their courtyard.
They will let you know of anything they can adapt if you state you are vegan/vego.
Pros: Super lovely staff, Open fire in winter, Great welcoming atmosphere
Cons: Would like more vegan deserts!

Friendly and proud of their vegan options - Edit
The Songbird is proud of the fact that everyone is welcome, regardless of dietary requirements. The menu clearly identifies vegan (and gluten free) options. The staff are only too happy to discuss, and make suggestions.
Read moreI couldn't decided between the Sesame & Wasabi crusted tofu or the satay tofu, but I was also considering the Fettuccine Verdure (Zucchini, Peas, Spinach, Mint & Vegan Fetta). Ultimately deciding on the satay, served with a fresh salad and rice.
It was a decent serve, and so delicious. I love that it came with salad and the sauce itself was very nice.
I also followed up with a hot chocolate (mainly because I could). It was lovely also.
The service is friendly, with an open fire (much appreciated on this cold, rainy day) which added to the ambience and hospitality.
In a region with few vegan options, this is a standout.
