Excellent Local Vegetarian - Edit
I went there for one meal but there are so many options I got two. And so affordable and great flavours and textures. Veg heaven and a few meat alternatives. I ordered to meals and will go back again soon.

Read moreThe woman who sold me the food spoke absolutely no English, so a translator is needed. For me, the woman from the tour booking next door came to help and recommended some food as well :)
I had the green curry and something with jackfruit and it was amazing!!! The first actually green curry I've had in Thailand. In the more touristy restaurants, it's always some yellow/clear stuff with a couple of green things thrown in.
I was worried initially because I didn't see any prices, but somehow two plates and a bottle of water came out to 100 baht, which is insane compared to other spots in the area. First time I've left a 50% tip at a restaurant :D
100% recommended, just beware of the opening times, it closes pretty early.

Classic Thai food stall with AVERAGE food at a goog price. I stopped to eat and I had a good time. Spartan place, friendly staff and generous portions. Fairly wide selection of food. They provide free drinking water during the meal.

We enjoyed the food , it tasted quite fresh and varied. We got a plate of rice with 3 curry/veg dishes and a big piece of tofu (20 baht extra ). Lady working there was friendly and also give us cold water to drink.

Small selection of dishes. Many curries that are very spicy, with mock meats and veggies. Offers more mock meats in herbal broth, stir fried veggies, mock meat pieces and more. Changes daily! Takeaway possible as well. Cheap!

Quite a lot of dishes to choose from with or without rice. Fresh water and ice provided as well as a plate of fresh veggies. Food very tasty and a good amount of spice. Paid 80 Baht for the plate - it kind of seems like everyone is paying a different price?

Buffet style restaurant. The food is delicious. We had a good breakfast. Much cheaper than other breakfast options in town. You can ask if food is spicy; they understand. Instead of rice they have some good noodle dishes.

Finally found cheap Thai in Krabi - Edit
Vegan food in Krabi is mostly western or Indian and expensive (150 baht ), so we were so excited to find this place. The menu was all in Thai so we had to use Google translate. We ordered rice with a choice of yummy toppings for 40-50 baht. We got green curry, spicy mushrooms and krapao. They deliver through Grab to the Ao Nang area.

We discovered this vegan stand while walking around. They close really early so we decided to take the lunch for take away. We ate here 2 times and it is true that the price is a little bit random. The first day payed 50 THB per rice 2 toppings, the next day we payed 60 THB for exactly the same.

Typical buffet food. The springrolls are great. Some food can be very spicy so look out for it. Prices are also a little bit random. I paid 90 Baht for rice with 3 toppings which is quite pricey for the quality and portion sizes.

July 22 & 23: I ate 2 lunches here. This local vegan eatery offers a variety of prepared dishes in a buffet format. Twice I chose 3 options with rice = 60 baht each meal. The lovely owner gives you a side dish with cucumbers, green beans, and some greens, plus free water. Such a deal and the food is tasty. Please eat here and support this owner's choice to spread veganism.

Delicious vegan Thai foods for good price. Rice with two toppings just 40 Baht. Additional greens like herbs and cucumbers are for free. Water with ice is for free as well. Lady serving seems to be shy but very friendly!
