Somberos Mexican

We had large burritos with added guac for $20 each and they were nice and filling. Salsa on the side was perfect because burrito itself was missing a bit of flavor so it made it a great meal, not heavy as some Mexican restaurants make it. All in all we left with happy bellies. :-)

Vegan options are clearly labelled on the menu, and staff is knowledgeable about which dishes can be made vegan or not.
They advertise vegan cheese, but they don't use any cheese that melts in the quesadilla or in the nachos for example. They still have a homemade cashew-cheese with the tacos.
Food is not exceptional, a little bit blend, but tastes alright.

Ordering a Vegan meal was quite simple, we ordered vegetarian nachos without cheese and sour cream, and the staff were helpful with any queries we had about the food. But the food was quite pricey and bland - I don't believe they reduced the prices of the dishes at all despite the lack of two ingredients. And we asked for extra guacamole to make up for the cheese - there was no extra on the meal.
The food was enjoyable, but for a great vegan meal in Queenstown for the same price I would go elsewhere. A good place to go if you are in a group of non-vegans though and need some simple options though.

We had just arrived in town and were waiting for our room to be ready and needed to fill in some time and refuel. Enjoyable, cheap 'n' cheerful food. Lovely, friendly staff. It is situated on the second floor and we had a seat by the window so that added to the pleasure.

Not overly impressed, but we had a good lunch at a good price and ate until we were full.

Except 2-3 things on the menu, everything can be turned into a vegetarian order. Tasty food.

Friendly staff who will offer to make many dishes vegan if you just ask. The enchiladas are tasty and adequately hot. A bit pricey.
