Light lunches and snacks made with organic and/or locally grown and produced foods. Strives to help protect the environment and stimulate growth on the island. The cafe showcases local musical talent, improv theatre, poetry readings, and as a space for café philosophy. Walls are used as a gallery to display the works of local photographers both amateur and professional. REPORTED CLOSED, JUNE 2016. Open Mon-Fri 7:30am-5:00pm, Sat 9:30am-5:00pm, Sun 10:30am-5:00pm.

One easy step away from being awesome - Edit
Such a lovely place, such a nice location, really. Friendly atmosphere, a backyard even and many delicious vegan pastry items.
But there is one easy thing to do to make Solstice Cafe much better: Just cut off the meat from the menu. You don't need it, Solstice Cafe, and it's really not a hard thing to do.
Pros: nice atmosphere, good location
Cons: they sould remove meat from menu

Quiet, Not Crowded, Vgn Options - Edit
Had a modified version of the smoked tofu sandwich since they were out of some of the ingredients. It was tasty. I also had a bliss ball -- a raw energy chocolate coconut truffle thing. Very good! There were also quite a few vegan pastries and a few other vegan items on the menu.

Some Vegan options - Edit
We arrived at this restaurant by mistake (we meant to go to another vegan friendly place, but got them mixed up), but were very satisfied with our food. There were a few vegan options on the menu, more in the pastry section, but we wanted a meal. We got two different vegan friendly sandwiches (the smoked tofu one is SO! GOOD!) and a cinnamon roll. There were also vegan samosas and muffins.
