Delicious & creative raw vegan cuisine - Edit

Small-ish place that is open for lunch only it seems, although they are licensed for alcohol sales. We went here for a late lunch after a walk about, and were not disappointed. Stuffed zucchini flowers as appetizer, raw avocado tacos and great bun-less burger complete with mini crispy (yet still raw) onion rings/fries. Great presentation and tasty all around. Enjoyed a couple of fresh smoothies for dessert, although they have a number of other options too. Highly recommended, and worth going out of your way to find.

Pros: delicious and healthy too

Cons: somewhat small seating area (room for maybe30 ppl$

Delicious but not satisfying - Edit

This place is super cozy and everything we had (especially the chocolate dessert) was delicious. However, the dessert were about the same size and prize as the main course which was a shame.
Being vegan one of the many benefits is that I always eat until fully satisfied and here the main course was not even close to a standard main size.
It is quite expensive to be Rome but I didn't mind because of the ingredient, I just wish there was more food on the plate!
Apart from that, lovely gem close to the Vatican!

Pros: Delicious , Best raw dessert

Cons: Expensive , Small portion sizes

Rawmazing! - Edit

My hubby and I have been vegan for about 2 years but haven't had great raw vegan food despite living in LA.
That ended with Solo Crudo - the Spring Vegetable Garden was exceptional. The chef was friendly and explained how he used different marinades to achieve
a taste that was both complex and refreshing. I wonder if they deliver;-)

rich raw dishes - Edit

I had zucchini pasta, the first bite was so good. Rich and cream. But then after couple more bites, I felt like the pasta just had too much olive oil and cashew cream in it. Too rich in a way. But hey I am in Italy 😆.

I had the juice of the day which is pear/ melon. You can't go wrong with juice 😉.

I didn't order dessert, €8 for dessert was too expensive for me

Cons: everything on a pricy side

Yes, small portions, but SO delicious, - Edit

I'd never really had raw food before, so didn't quite know what to expect. I had the 'hamburger' followed by a dessert of three types of chocolate... All vegan, all delicious. I think part of the 'raw' thing is about getting more nutrients from less food, but I still felt pretty satisfied after eating. My wife had the zucchini spaghetti which was also delicious and everything was beautifully presented too. I'm going to investigate raw cooking when I get home.

Pros: All vegan. All delicious.

Cons: Small-ish servings. Not super-cheap.

Pros: posizione, ambiente accogliente, scelta varia, tut

Good food, but small portions - Edit

I'm a raw vegan when I'm at home, so every time I travel I tend to look for raw places first. This place is really close to my hotel in Rome, so I started with Solo Crudo.

The place has a nice vibe, the staff is friendly and the athmosphere was good. They played reggae and a staff member was singing along quite loudly :D

The food tasted good, but the portions were tiny! My husband had the falafels, I had a zucchini pasta. My pasta was fine, the portion size perfect, but my husband got three tiny falafels on his plate with some pea sauce, and that's it.

My main thing with this restaurant was really their lack of colour in the foods. We would really have enjoyed something more colourful. I don't know if I'm alone in this, but I find most raw restaurants quite boring. This wasn't really an exception.

Pros: Tasty

Cons: Small portions, Fairly expensive

Best Raw place in Rome - Edit

This quaint restaurant is located near the Court of Justice. I ordered the pear sushi, the beet ravioli, and the wrap. All were delicious! I do think next time I go I will no get the wrap since its pretty easy to do at home. We got the banana cheesecake for dessert and it's probably the best cheesecake I've ever had, nothing like any raw dessert I've had.
The server spoke many languages and was very easy going.
The price for the food is totally worth it, cheaper than other raw food places in the area. GO there!
