Outstanding

Great little bakery with a few good options for Vegans. I found this place on Happy Cow and live so close by, I don't know how I've missed it. Friendly and accommodating staff. I'm told there are fewer options because of the loss of some staff due to the pandemic. When I was there, there were 3 options for me that day including vegan apple turnovers, chocolate cupcakes with frosting and pumpkin spice cupcakes. I bought them all and they were wonderful. I'll be returning again and again.

Pros: Enough vegan options to find something you'll like

Tasty treats and they do custom cakes

I noticed a comment on their Facebook page about vegan muffins so I figured I’d try it out. Went in on a Saturday morning and they had vegan vanilla cupcakes and vegan lemon blueberry muffins. They have at least 8 different types of bread they make and the only thing that’s not vegan is the egg wash on a couple and a few had cheese. They had baguettes that were vegan and sour dough and a few others but that’s what I chose. I have two little boys who also chose to be vegan so it’s nice when I can take them out to get a treat so they both picked a muffin and cupcake. Everything we had was delicious but the muffins I think were the best. I thought they were just like a “regular” muffin ( I’ve only been vegan a year so I sort of remember). We decided to go back the next day to bring my husband this time. My sons were super excited to see this time they had vegan Whoopie pies, chocolate cupcakes, vanilla cupcakes, lemon blueberry muffins and orange cranberry. We got one of everything. We also got some more bread because it’s so good. I will definitely be going to this place all the time. The woman who waited on us both days was extremely friendly and didn’t think twice when I questioned her about the vegan things they offer. Thinking about getting my birthday cake from them too!! Definitely worth a stop if you are anywhere close to this bakery especially since we don’t have a ton of options in this part of Connecticut. I will also say when I was told the price the first day we went I was shocked. I made her check that she got everything. I’m used to paying a higher price for vegan stuff and that’s okay with me. I definitely think the prices here were really fair.

Update* went back again and they’ve started making their raisin bread vegan and it is AMAZING! They also have toasting buns that are vegan 🤤 so good. This is a weekly spot for us now.
Update 6/8 they went back to egg wash for raisin bread so it’s a no go on that now 😩

Pros: Always has vegan options , Prices are very fair , Able to do custom cake orders
