I got a veggie sandwich turned I too a vegan one with the help of waiter and kitchen: they remove the cheese and change the bread by plantain since the bread have milk in it.

My family loves it - Edit
We always get the two large vegetarian plates, one with black beans and one with pink and it’s plenty of food for two adults and two kids. Their hot sauce and salad dressing are delicious and the lentil soup and vegan desserts are also great. Great and affordable.

Amazing - Edit
While there aren’t a ton of vegan options on the menu, they are clearly labeled and absolutely delicious. The Vegetariano with your choice of black or pinto beans and sweet/savory plantains or fries is my usual go to. I recommend trying the pinto beans, which have green olives in them, and the plantains (ask for one of each!). Their Lentil Soup may be the best I’ve ever had. The orange mango tea and fresh limeade are both fantastic, and if you can’t decide you can get them mixed together. They also sell their legendary hot sauce and salad dressing to go.
Read moreThe quality and consistency at Sol Food is top notch. The indoor dining area gets a little noisy, but they have a nice little patio in the back with lots of shade. Can’t recommend this place enough. I’d give them 5 stars if I could.
Pros: Great customer service , Outstanding food
Cons: Parking is tough, Indoor dining is loud

Limited but delicious vegan food in an amazing atmosphere - Edit
The only vegan entree is the Vegetariano which is a rice and beans plate that comes with a salad and fried plantains. The beans come in pink or black, basically pinto or black beans. The rice was sticky and unique and really yummy, especially with their proprietary Pique sauce, a spicy vinegar-based sauce 😋. The salad comes with a tasty garlic lemon vinaigrette. Now if we could just get them to take the cows milk out of their "Coconut milk coffee". Apparently the coconut is only a coconut cream topping. UPDATE: today I asked a server and apparently actual coconut milk is available for the coconut milk latte if requested. He told me that you still need to specify "no condensed milk" when ordering as condensed milk is traditional for that style beverage.

Really good food - Edit
Not a ton of choices here but the Vegetariano has salad, rice, beans and fries.
Read moreI could pretty much eat that all the time😜. There’s a few other items to try.
And the hot sauce on the rice is nice.
