Pretty great vege/vegan restaurant - Edit

Great food, will definitely be returning. Service was excellent - our first waiter, when realising we were struggling to read/speak Spanish went to find a waitress who explained the menu to us in English, and our food arrived very quickly after ordering. Good selection of food, including desserts, and very reasonably priced.

Pros: Nice atmosphere, Quick service, Good price

Cons: Meatballs could have been better!

Back again - Edit

Had to come back again! This time it was for the Burger and French Fries 🍟 . I usually don't use the term "burger" as what you get more often than not is an anemic looking....and sometimes tasting........pattie/ crepe of undetermined origin
( usually with lentils somewhere in the mix..)
Here, there's a full-on, full -size sandwich waiting for you and your companion..It's double sized with even indentations in the bun for where to cut it. And this burger really cuts it !
And then...VEGAN pig 🐷 that I am.....chocolate ice cream !!
And there I was. Fat and Full......and Fully Content 😌 !!

The best comfort food - Edit

This restaurant was amazing!! It wasn't easy to find but it's part of the gallery, so look for the sign (in the picture section) and then walk into the gallery to find the restaurant.
We ordered two completos (Chile hot dogs). One was a tofu dog with vegan mayo and the other was seitan with vegan cheese. We also started with the ceviche which was mouth watering.

Pros: Well priced, Good portions

Cons: Hard to find

great place with lots of character - Edit

In great location right off the Plaza, oozing authenticity, run by three colorful sisters. This is not "health food" veg food more common in Providencia, but rather big, meaty, filling, traditional dishes in a quirky, Chilean atmosphere (the ubiquitous "pasaje," or corridor between buildings). They also serve alcohol and have delicious deserts. Definitely a must-visit for v-travelers in the center.

Pros: filling, convenient, authentic

Exquisite food for good prices - Edit

Most dishes are vegan. Good values for the food. I had champignones al jerez (sauce with red wine and spices) and rice for 3500 pesos (little more than 5 dollars), including a lemonade or fruit tee. Vegan desserts are also available, around 1000 pesos - this includes cheesecakes, sundaes, cakes. The place was well frequented and the staff was very attentive.

Pros: Food quality , Good value , Friendly staff

Cons: Little bit crowded

Cheap Vegan Food - Edit

I agree with a previous reviewer that called this restaurant a solid B+. The food was good but didn't blow my mind. Still, I would absolutely go back, especially considering the very reasonable prices and the vegan versions of Chilean traditional dishes (mainly served on the dinner menu from my experience).

We had a bit of trouble finding Soju and had to ask around, so I took photos of the main entranceway as it looked in July 2016 as well as the storefront and uploaded them here. Hope that helps! This one is worth at least trying out!

Great vegan choices - Edit

A little bit tricky to find but well worth the lost minutes. We arrived at around 7pm and we were seated straight away and given lovely pan and pebre before we ordered. The menu had 9 or 10 completo choices (gorgeous hotdogs made or tofu or seitan and covered with a variety of toppings), promotions, main dishes and 6 or 7 vegan desserts. My omni boyfriend loved it, we both started with completos and a pisco sour, and then shared a chorrillana - a very typical Chilean dish, the vegan version came with seitan, onions, scrambled tofu in place of eggs and of course, bucketloads of fries. Stuffed! We took home two desserts, a chocolate mousse pie and a manjar creme. Altogether came to 20mil and well worth it.

In case you arent as fat and greedy as my boyfriend and I, they do have healthy food too, salads and pastas etc.

It was so great to find a place to have vegan versions of all these great Chilean dishes. Lovely ambience, great prices. Well recommended.

Pros: Amazing selection, Tasty, Serves alcohol

Good and inexpensive vegetarian restaurant - Edit

Nice to find vegan options in the center of Santiago. Very busy restaurant, with a big menu and a lot of vegan stuff. BEWARE: I ask if the cheese was «vegan cheese» and the waiter told me yes, so, as a vegan, I ordered this dish, but i’m pretty sure it was not vegan cheese. Just be carefull, all the staff may not be aware of what vegan means.
Desert options also.

Pros: Bread offered, Localisation (center), Inexpensive

Cons: Very busy

Great value and many vegan options - Edit

I visited during a busy lunch hour with two friends. We were seated relatively fast, for there was a long line. The drinks were served with bread and pebre. I was happy to find many vegan choices on the menu of the day, along with great options for dessert. The restaurant seemed popular, and had a line of people waiting to get in for the duration of my meal. There are healthy options, and of course comfort food. The prices were great and I felt very satisfied with the service.

Pros: Inexpensive, Large portions, Vegan desserts

Cons: Small restaurant, Speed of service is average, Location isn't very convenient

Soju Vegan - solid B+ - Edit

Went to this place today for lunch. It's off the street in an indoor mall, so don't look for it on the street. Food was fresh and tasty.. There are the daily specials and that's it. Place was packed- nice to see vegans in Santiago.

Rico - Edit

Saludos.

Pros: Rico, Varias opciones, Postres

Cons: Pequeño, La mayoria de las comidas llevan soya
