I just love the comfort food menu. We went for the taco’s and eggplant sauce with bread for starters. As main we had the pulled pork burger, which was quite the same as the taco but on bread. The other main was khao soi, there were no pickles, onion & fried noodles. And the noodles were just spaghetti haha. Nevertheless we really enjoyed eating here and the taste was nice. Very kind staff.

We popped into SOIL for a quick lunch one day. It's a nice place on bustling Javastraat with a tempting menu filled with 100% vegan goodness. We were pretty much spoilt for choice, but I eventually opted for the reuben sandwich while my wife opted for the crispy no-chicken burger. My reuben was amazing - their homemade kimchi is to die for and the tempeh was also beautifully cooked! My wife was happy with her choice too. We also shared a portion of fries, which were also very good. Highly recommended.

With all the vegan restaurants in Amsterdam, we have not gotten to many more than once except for Soil! Their food is spectacular, I love the vibe, and the staff is really kind and helpful. Highly recommend! We loved the BBQ ribs, pulled pork tacos, and the Miso Salad.
