Expensive but delicious

Separate veggie menu, lots of mocktails. Food was devine. Beer was cold.
A little hard to find, down some stairs and back again - but that's half the fun.

Pros: More veggie options than you'd expect, Good beer and cocktail list

Cons: You get what you pay for, Most veggie dishes are mushroom based.

Good concept hoping for better execution

I like the concept of the restaurant, and the amount of vegan /vegetarian options. With this said, the food that I ordered for the family was ok but not great. I ordered:

- Ma Po Tofu -- never had this dish served without rice so didn't even think to order it separately. So ended up with just this without rice... Too strong a flavor to not have the rice to balance.

- Veg Fried Rice - this was very nice, not super flavorful but I like it that way. Fresh simple ingredients.

- Veg Noodle Soup - ok, broth was quite dark (salty?) but also quite plain at the same time.

- Tofu appetizer with sweet soy sauce - simple but nice pairing and delicious.

- Veg dumplings and spring rolls -- quite nice but honestly also didn't stand out.

- Veg Hot & Sour Soup -- stay away!! This almost tastes like vinegar served straight up. Did not work for me or my husband at all.

I may give this another try checking out the other dishes another time. But the price point is a bit prohibitive as an every day dinner option.

Pros: mostly organic, local, clean eating, Separate Veg Menu

Cons: Some dishes arent great; price point quite high.

Be conscious of what arrives at the table...

There's only 1 veg option for the set lunch (MaPo Tofu); otherwise you have to order a la carte.

I like the food and the price for set lunch is good, but better to go with a different menu. They brought me the regular MaPo Tofu at first (with the pork), so they could've brought me the veg starter using pork broth unknowingly.

Otherwise, I like them. I have been here many times, so this was just 1 occasion where they made a mistake, and resolved it quickly. So they are friendly, with good service, and conscientious for the most part.

Healthy Chinese food in a trendy modern setting

Really enjoyed my dinner here and will definitely return for more. This place has a FULL vegetarian menu, and all items can be made vegan (there is an asterisk at the top of the veggie menu saying to give staff a heads up if you're vegan). It is not very common in HK for omni places to have separate veggie menus or to mention veganism so I was excited to see this.

I had the cold bean thread noodles with mushroom in peanut sauce for starter which was just so delicious. For main, I had a stewed dish with mushrooms and tofu in veg oyster sauce. A more simple dish, which felt healthy and tasted good at the same time.

Lovely venue with trendy funky decor (cool HK posters and water gun chandelier by the stairs) inside, and more casual seating outside.

Price on the higher side although I believe they have set lunch including veg options which is likely more affordable.

Pros: While veggie menu which can be made vegan, Lovely venue , Healthy tasty Chinese food

Cons: Prices on the higher side

Comfort Chinese food

Relaxed eco friendly restaurant with full vegetarian/ vegan menu alongside their normal menu. Generally everything is tasty ( with the exception of the vinegar cucumber which was a bit too vinegary)

Pros: Good variety of veg dishes, Outdoor seating

Cons: Bit pricey
