Plenty of Vegan Options - Edit
As a lot of reviewers have stated, it’s not the best place in the food lab. I do appreciate that there are plenty of options for vegans, though. I opted for the Omni Pork Udon, which I thought was pretty good! I’d usually, and will continue, to go to Monty’s at the Food Lab, but I don’t regret getting it 🍲

One of the worst eating out experiences - Edit
Broth tasted like salted water and sesame oil. The noodles were over cooked and tasted like chalk. The vegetables were mush. Absolutely awful and we just wound up throwing out. The bao buns were edible but also not great and just really not good combination of flavors. Don’t waste your money!

Worst place at food lab - Edit
I tried the spicy Miso ramen. it looked like my 2 year old made it. The tofu was cold and the broth was watery. When compared to places like shizen in San Francisco, this was terrible.
Read moreyou have much better chance at good food at Monty's or the pizza place at the food lab. Those were great.

Love the vegan selection - Edit
They have delicious vegan egg rolls and I love the spicy miso ramen. I was expecting just one vegan option but they have an entire menu labeled vegan with various types of ramen and appetizers. I have yet to try the vegan Bao

I Love Ramen! - Edit
I got the creamy veggie ramen, and it was good! I have never had a potato cutlet - it was a first and delicious. I appreciate that they clearly mark and have a lot of vegan options.
Read moreBut ramen is one also of my favorite foods and compared to other traditional ramen places, it doesn't have as many traditional toppings, the size is pretty small, and it was very oily. I have had better....but Riverside area doesn't have too many vegan ramen options so its worth giving a try. I would come back to eat some of the other ramens and see how they compare against each other
Pros: Potato cutlet was great!, Have a lot of vegan options
Cons: Not a lot of toppings and a bit too oily, Size is small

vegan ramen - Edit
I just tried their ramen today. When you look at their menu you're unclear if they have vegan ramen or not but they do have a lot of dishes with vegetables. I asked and many of their dishes can be made vegan, so there are several vegan options here. I ended up with their Spicy Miso Ramen which was super delicious! It was made with spinach ramen noodles, vegetables, and spicy but not too spicy.
