Lovely ice cream

It was a nice shop, but I struggled to see what was vegan on the menu because the symbols were so tiny you couldn’t read them, and I had to peer round a column to try and read some of the menu - I think it would be better to have the options more visible. It meant I had to ask a lot of questions.

I opted for their pistachio ice cream, and chose the small tub. They had a fancier version called something like “Oublie” pistachio which came with candied nuts and mini cones on top, which looked too good to resist. It was really delicious but some of my topping fell off as soon as I walked out. The portion was just right for me and I really enjoyed it - it’s been a long time since I was able to buy an ice cream from somewhere instead of getting a tub to eat at home.

It was €4 though, which ordinarily I’d find a bit steep but hey, I’m on holiday!

Pros: Lovely ice cream, A range of vegan options

Cons: Difficult to see what the options were, A bit pricey

Instagrammable vegan softijsjes

Het ziet er allemaal super mooi uit: de zaak is leuk ingericht met felle kleurtjes, de ijsjes worden aangekleed met siropen, sprinkles, nootjes, koekjes, vers fruit en zelfs blaadjes (voor de échte vegans). Het oog wil ook wat.

Daarnaast is het ook gewoon lekker, wat natuurlijk veel belangrijker is. Er is ruim keuze aan vegan softijssmaken en vegan opties zijn duidelijk aangegeven op het menu. Er zijn ook wat ongewone smaakjes zoals "pear & gingerbeer".

Het is wel wat aan de dure kant voor een ijsje.
