No longer offering vegan curry - Edit
Went to Snow Peak camping store but the cafe had a sign saying chickpea curry isn't available. Asked if it would be available the following day and in the future and was told 'No'. So it seems this one is no longer offering its vegan dish. A pity as is so conveniently located in the AMu Plaza building adjacent to Kumamoto Station.

Tried to go Cafe Pony but got there and it was a day off, so endued up here.

They only had one vegan option, which was the chickpea curry with a salad. It was tasty and was of a good size. The staff were pretty friendly and helpful. A good vegan option in Kumamoto if you're by the Kumamoto Station.

It’s extremely challenging to find Vegan and gf in Japan. This is close to Kumamoto station. 3rd floor inside AMU building. I ordered this to go.

A vegan lunch option at Kumamoto Station - Edit
I'm not sure if they offer anything vegan beyond the "vegan-free" curry advertised outside their store, however I was happy to find a plant-based lunch option. It's a bit pricey but the ingredients tasted like quality produce. The place is located on the third floor of the building to your left when facing the east entrance of Kumamoto Station. It's immediately to your right when exciting the escalator.
