Many options for food and drinks - Edit
They have vegan eggs and sausages plus veggie skillets. Vegan smoothies and protein powder too! Plus a variety of alternative milks for your lattes! Very cute vibe!

Good downtown breakfast option! - Edit
I tinkered between 3 and 4 stars on this place. Let’s start with the pros! The location is very convenient if you’re visiting. It’s downtown, close to many hotels and tour meeting spots, the train, etc.

The coffee and service was wonderful! I ordered the oatmeal and I throughly enjoyed it. There wasn’t anything overly exciting about it necessarily but I love oatmeal, and portion was huge, and it was much needed warmth & fuel for a long day ahead!
However some of the other reviews are spot on that Just Egg is their main version of vegan options and there are up charges for substitutions. My husband replaced a breakfast sandwich with from egg and cheese to JustEgg and vegan cheese which was $4-5 more.
Now, this is a price we were willing to pay to avoid our awful hotel breakfast // an Uber to a different restaurant. But if you have a rental car and aren’t walking, I think I saw another restaurant that has vegan breakfast options, and it may be worth considering other places. I thought about 4 stars in context though simply because there are not a lot of vegan breakfast options in the area.
So if you’re ok with the upcharges for the location, need a good full breakfast, and/ or if you’re down for some of the naturally vegan options like oatmeal, açaí bowl, and chia pudding, then this may be perfect for you! It’s a very cute restaurant with a warm atmosphere, and we are thankful to have had the filling breakfast option for us!

Big upcharge and long wait - Edit
We went ahead and waited since everyone seemed to point us here for vegan options. Food was good-not mind blowing. They had just egg and vegan sausage options to make their egg focused part of the menu vegan though with big charges- one item cost $8 extra for the vegan version! We got the hummus and veg sandwich which was vegan except for fetta-just got without to avoid the cost. They also had no vegan baked goods. Overall disappointing and not worth the 1.5ish hours from entering to getting our food.

I got a drip coffee (several plant-based milk options) and the vegan bypass, to which I added just egg, beyond sausage, and a slice of sourdough (asked to hold the butter!). It was so good and there was so much food—I definitely had lots of leftovers. Of course making it vegan and adding the add-ons made the price pretty high. Unfortunately there were no vegan baked goods or any options other than in the “eggs” category. The service was terrific and I liked that they have a hot sauce station.

We had to wait over an hour, but the menu was great. There were a few vegan options, with clear labels. I enjoyed the “Vegan Bypass” meal with Beyond Sausage.

There were also quite a few gluten free options, which we are always happy to see labeled on the menu.

It's easy to get complacent with a restaurant that offers vegan substitutes and labeled vegan items. Multiple times I've asked them to "veganize" a menu item only to have it come out with meat. Be very very clear with how you order here.

They have a few dedicated Vegan dishes and most others can be made Vegan. They use just Egg, Beyond Sausage and Daiya Cheese. I got the Vegan bypass which was very good. A little disappointed was looking at the Vegan scramble but they ran out of Just Egg. That kind of limited my options here and the reason for the 3 star rating, that and the up charge for the vegan options made the dish a little expensive.

It’s honestly just great to have vegan options in a not-so-vegan-friendly city. They have one healthy option (the smoothie bowl) and the rest is done by substituting regular meat and egg products with vegan alternatives. It is really rather expensive but this may have to do with general Anchorage prices.

They had several vegan items on the menu that were clearly marked, and many other items can be veganized. While it's true they didn't have a huge selection, that's the way it is in AK. Many restaurants have gotten the message and will offer one vegan item, so Snow City is way ahead of the local competition. We had the quinoa salad, Just Egg breakfast platter, avocado toast, smoothies, and oat milk lattes. Everything was delicious. They were short staffed and not all tables were being used, which increased the wait time for a table. But that's happening everywhere. Also, there were menu items unavailable due to supply chain issues. That's happening everywhere too. Highly recommend Snow City!

All the fresh food with Vegan subs - Edit
I would go back here any day. They had all my daughters fave vegan foods: beyond sausage patties, just egg, plain bagels, strawberry banana smoothie. We brought our own vegan butter for the bagel. 3 of us has the steel cut oats with fresh berries and it was amazing! Love the fresh jam at the table and the topping options for the oats. I also had a soy milk latte that was very tasty. 5 of us has breakfast in a large booth for $64. The wait staff at the counter and at our table were friendly and nice. Very happy we found this place while visiting.

Few Vegan Options - Edit
Not a ton of vegan options on the menu, but I was impressed by their vegan scramble. They use impossible meat and the just egg so it was very good. They don’t have any vegan butter, but the jam is good. They are knowledgeable about veganism and happy to make dishes vegan which I appreciated a lot. Their lattes were also very good!

I visited in December and they have a few vegan options and some dishes that can be veganized. I had the Vegan Scramble and it was delicious! The server who brought out the food even told me that the packaged butter on the side wasn't vegan and she wanted to make sure I knew in case I was vegan. I'm plant-based and appreciated this!

Snow City is a place I’ve been eating vegan for years. My favorites are the avocado toast, smoothie bowl, and vegan scramble (although I’m shying away from the “impossible” and “incredible” alternatives lately).

The best vegan scramble - Edit
The vegan scramble here is a must try. It has evolved over time and is now made from vegan egg, cheese, burger crumbles and veggies. Super flavorful and the hot sauce bar here can help you kick it up a notch. The hashbrowns were some of the best I’ve tried along with their house made jam and multigrain bread. Great service despite being packed at the time.

Omni restaurant open for breakfast and lunch. They have plant mylk options for coffee and an amazing vegan scramble, which I highly recommend. The hash brown is vegan and out of this world!
