It was not a good experience at all. - Edit
The waiting time was long, one hour at least even though the restaurant was almost empty, no drinks offered for the waiting time. The food had no taste and i am not difficult! I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We waited about an hour to be served even though the restaurant was almost empty. The food was very disappointing. Lack of taste and seasoning except for one starter (be Chill). We asked to slip the bill in 3 and the waiter was all bitchy that he had to calculate it himself so we did it for him and then he started complaining about his work conditions... So yeah we’re not goin there, ever again!

Lots of labeled vegan options! The servers are super friendly. I had the best pizza that I’ve ever tasted and a delicious raw brownie with edible flowers and fresh fruit for dessert! If I’m ever back in Amsterdam this is DEFINITELY going to be my first stop.

Read moreI'm a waitress too and I still do what I can to make it a good experience for the guests. The waitresses were rushed, not really friendly, it took a long time for them to take up our order and then it took AGES for our pancakes to come. They didn't come to our table to say sorry or provide a drink for the long wait. When the pancakes came 1 stack was almost cold and the portions were very tiny(I expected way more for 14 euro!).
We were planning on having a freakshake after the food, but ordered it as soon as the pancakes came to avoid waiting. Because we mentioned something about the long wait (to the guy who started helping them out)our freakshake came asap.
Great concept, glad they provide vegan options, but I hear nothing but bad story's about the service.

We really enjoyed our first visit to their Kinkerstraat location, but have since grown disappointed with their food at both locations. Lots of vegan options, though, and the overall atmosphere is nice. Service is an issue, as – to be fair – in many restaurants in Amsterdam. We also consider it to be overpriced (considering portion size and quality).

This restaurant sets the new standard globally. It does not matter if you are a vegie or vegan or an omnivore, everybody will enjoy their food here. The food is tasty, certainly not expensive and the ambiance superb. Definitely a 5* rating!

delicious and healthy food! excellent portion sizes! - Edit
Loved this. Wasn't crowded and everything was very clearly marked as to what was vegan, gluten free, etc. Found my awesome salad to be extremely filling, and they let me bring my dog in. Over all I will definitely go back if I find myself near Sarphatipark again during my trip!

Vegan dishes on menu are not marked vegan, so ask to be sure. Plenty of options though and even vegan ice-cream. The food is really good.
