May have caught them on a bad night... - Edit
Recently went to this diner and was impressed that they had a separate vegan menu, with some fake meat options and milkshakes too. It's a well decorated place with a great atmosphere and live music.
Read moreWe ordered our food plus some milkshakes. Unfortunately they were out of BBQ jackfruit so I ordered a chilli hotdog. About 15 mins later our waitress informed us that they were out of vegan ice cream, but could still make the shake if we liked. We agreed. Another 15 mins pass, when she returned to say she has lost her keys to the store room and so she couldnt get the soy milk for the shakes. She offered us another drink on the house, which was fine, but the shakes were unfortunately one of the reasons we came here.
About an hour passed in total before our food came out, during which they forgot one serving of fries we had ordered.
The food was good, not mind-blowing but definitely the standard I would expect from a non-vegan place.
So overall we had to make a lot of compromises due to the restaurant running out of ingredients. The service was slow, but the staff were very friendly and apologetic. I would have rated 2 stars but I think this was just a bad night for them and any other time they likely would have provided a 4 star experience and food. Worth a try!

for some reason the vegan menu isn't online but they have so many options. I tried the vegan mac & cheese and a strawberry milkshake. they were delicious!
