Cozy Antmosphere and Great Food - Edit
There Are not many vegan options but they are all labeled as vegan. I tried the smoked pumpkin and the Tempura Coconut. Both were amazing and the atmosphere was really cozy as you can sit on the grass Next to the Beach.

Stunning location and setting with some delicious vegan options. Vegan calamari was amazing, we had to get 2 serves. Cocktails were insane.

Amazing food - high quality - Edit
This is a beautiful locally owned bar and restaurant with some nice vegan options. There wasn’t many options this time but apparently the menu changes. Food was presented beautifully and was delicious. Recommend the vegan calamari ! Drinks good too!

Tasty but more vegan options pls - Edit
Our meal here was delicious. Vegan options were limited as one dish (cabbage) wasn’t available so we asked for the cauliflower dish (normally veg) to be veganised which they did.

Upmarket limited vegan choices - Edit
I visited with non vegans in the evening so I knew my food choice would be limited. It was also known for its quality food, so I knew it was expensive. I had smoked and curried pumpkin with almond cheese etc. It was very tasty. The setting was very nice and atmospheric.

Menu has a couple of nice vegan options (we had coconut calamari and smoked tofu sweet corn bitters). The location and cocktails make up for the lack of vegan options. #Veganuary

Great cocktails and delicious food. - Edit
Whilst there were only a few options for vegan dinners. We ordered them all and they were all fantastic. We had the coconut calamari, fritters and the pumpkin curry! The curry was a highlight. Food is clearly labelled as vegan. It’s a lovely location and I thoroughly enjoyed watching the sunset as we ate our dinner. Must book in advance!!

This restaurant is well-known for its cocktails, which are truly exceptional—you can taste many unique and subtle flavors. You need a reservation in advance.The food also impressed us. Despite their fame, the prices are not much higher than other European-style restaurants in Sri Lanka. I had the pumpkin dish, which is made vegan with almond cheese. It tasted amazing and was just enough for me, though the portions might be a bit small for someone with a big appetite. The salad was fresh and delicious. They also had a soy-based dish, but the waiter recommended the pumpkin, and I wasn’t disappointed. The service was very friendly and attentive, refilling our water for free as soon as it was empty. The chocolate dessert was outstanding. Each individual component had such an intense flavor, but together, it was simply to die for.

Pretty expensive for Sri Lanka but totally worth it as a treat if you’re in the area.

A lovely restaurant overlooking Dikwella Beach with great food and extremely creative cocktails. There are clearly marked vegan options (appetizers and mains) and portions are sizeable.
Read moreI had the fried vegan calamari with a green sauce which was so fresh and flavorful and the smoked jackfruit sandwich. It was extremely well made and spiced and I would have been happy to get this food anywhere in the world!
The cocktails used homemade bitters and included Sri Lankan alcohol and flavors/foods (Ceylon tea, banana/pineapple, cinnamon, cloves, etc). Super creative and absolutely mind blowing!!
