Cheap but not good - Edit

I tried their lunch combo with stir fry, pad thai, green curry and spring roll. None of them are good

Pros: Cheap, Has vegan options

Decent Thai food - Edit

I ordered the Pad Kee Mao with tofu. It was a bit tasteless. The prices are ok and the portions big enough.

Helpful staff and tasty food - Edit

We visited Smile Thai for the first time during May long weekend 2022. We left with full bellies and smiles on our faces too.

Many of their dishes can be made vegan, and we ordered the fried rice and the veggie noodles, plus a mango smoothie with tapioca pearls. Overall the meal was tasty and the prices were fair!

More than anything, we were relieved by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They were super happy to accommodate our desire for vegan dishes and made ordering pleasant and enjoyable.

I look forward to going again next time we’re in Gimli.

Great Food! - Edit

The staff was easily able to accommodate! They had many vegan options and the food was great! Be sure to ask for no egg for some dishes. There is no fish sauce or shrimp paste used in the curries. Watch out, the tom yum cannot be vegan as it has shrimp paste in it.
