Good cause and good food

This restaurant offers training and support to disadvantaged kids and teenagers.
The food is fresh and good enough with veg and vegan options.

Great range of Vegan/veg food as well as supporting a social enterprise

Enjoyed the vegetable Khmer soup. Very tasty with coconut and came with rice. Prices are US$3-5 a dish. Very generous serves!

Good Khmer food

If you look on Google Maps, the old reviews for this restaurant were excellent, but the restaurant has received only low reviews in the past year. This made me friends worry about coming, but this restaurant was in fact quite good for middle sized city.

The Khmer food was great; I had the Khmer curry Vegetarian (52) and it was very flavorful and delicious. My vegan friend had the Fried Vegetables (46) were good, a lot of variety of vegetables with cashews and tofu, but not very seasoned and agreed the curry was better. My other carnist friends had the Western food and it did not seem to be great (that may be the cause of the negative reviews). One friend got the hamburger, and said the meat was fine but the bread was bad. Another friend got the spaghetti bolognese, and said “it tasted like spaghetti bolognese that I would be able to make.” He is not a cook.

The seating is spacious and nice; lovely lighting and lots of fans.

The cost is reasonable, and it goes to a good cause. All profits goes to a NGO that supports education and vocational training for disadvantaged youth; all staff come from this program.

Yummy food and nice project

I had a really tasty Khmer curry - perfectly spicy and creamy. The portion was generous and the price quite cheap.
They also have a small boutique inside with lovely and ridiculously cheal handicrafts that aim to support a local community.

I highly recommend.

Pros: Friendly staff, Fair prices, Tasty food
