It’s disturbingly hard to find vegan food in Napa. Nonetheless, eating at a restaurant that serves all types of food is the only option. This was solid Middle-Eastern food. Nothing spectacular, but it filled me up.

Very good falafel - Edit
They had a few vegan options. The falafel came with pitas (thick and fluffy), tahini sauce and franks hot sauce. The falafel is very good and not too cumin-y which I liked. Highly recommend. Restaurant felt very authentic and had charming quality.

Small World is a great spot for picking up a quick bite to-go. Their falafel is fresh and well-seasoned without being dry. Somewhat of a hidden gem amongst all the overpriced tourist traps in downtown Napa!

We have eaten here several times and love the falafel platter. It is served with hummus, baba ghanoush, a salad and pita. They have a pickle bar where you can choose from a variety of pickled vegetables. The portions are generous and the falafel is delicious.

Very small family run good clean food and extremely friendly. In Napa valley this is one of few place I love to go. I’m Vegan and GF.

Smoothies, salads, veggie pitas and a variety of sides that are all fresh and tasty. And super friendly service every time I've been there.
Read moreI hope they eventually step up to even more vegan options - scrambled tofu for their omelets and breakfast burritos,, veggie cream cheese for their bagels, etc.
They have a big coffee and soft drink selection plus beer and wine. And they're totally walkable if you're in a downtown hotel.
Pros: Friendly service, Super fresh, handmade food, Wine!
Cons: Limited breakfast options for vegans, They serve lamb, beef, etc if that bothers you, Closed Sundays (they need a rest!)

As a vegetarian (almost vegan), and a visiter to Napa last week, I was pleased to find this small, charming restaurant on the Happy Cow app. Wonderful food, good & friendly service. I’d happily eat there again. I'd give the place 5 stars if the app would let me!

We love this place! We take the whole family here weekly and the waitresses always remember our vegan order (even though there are a ton of vegan options). They also always remember we don't need the dairy dip. They have a bar of spicy and pickled foods which are delicious. Really friendly staff.

The Best Falafel in Napa! - Edit
Small World is a small, unglamorous café located in downtown Napa. They offer a delicious array of middle eastern cuisine that includes gyros, pita sandwiches, hummus, dolmas and falafel along with the typically American corn dogs, French fries and burgers. The menu is clearly marked with 6 vegetarian pitas that are all vegan-friendly. My favorite dish is the amazing Falafel platter. The platter is gluten-free (if you skip the pita bread) and vegan. It is a huge sampling of falafel, hummus and salad. They also offer a free buffet of pickled and spicy condiments to add to your meal. And several salads can be made vegan-friendly. They provide a delicious, unpretentious lunch or dinner and are a perfect place to join friends. It will please vegans and our omnivorous friends as well. They also offer take out.
