More than just the usual small graces for vegans - Edit

I’ve been here a few times now and do find that this cafe is quite vegan-friendly. I tried the kimchi tofu scramble ($18) and it was quite delicious with the kimchi not overpowering. On another occasion I had the mushrooms on toast. While this was nicely complemented by almond feta and pine nuts, there was a high proportion of mushroom and it was quite rich and heavy for a breakfast. I had a vegan eggplant toastie ($10 salad $3) for lunch last week and it wasn’t bad, but it was not toasted very much, leaving it with hot, slightly soggy bread. Berry and banana smoothies were also good, and cheap at $7.

Pros: Good scrambled tofu, Cheap, nice smoothies

Cons: Mushrooms a bit heavy
