Heated canned garbage at real-food prices - Edit

15 000 won for something very generously labelled "tomato basil risotto". The rice was overcooked. The "assortment vegetables" the menu promised, consisted of two small slices of eggplant. The sauce was quite obviously not made in house, containing the familiar salt, sugar preservative hit in all the processed, garbage tomato sauces mass-produced for the supermarket. The result was a disgusting congealed mess only a starving man could enjoy. Insulting, unhealthy filth.

Over-priced, incompetently made, lazy and stupid. I will never darken the door of this sham restaurant again. Its very existence is a mockery of every cook that ever lived. Slunch Factory.... you are beneath contempt.

Pros: The painting on the wall was nice.

Cons: Over cooked risotto, cheap processed ingredients, pricey

Refreshening - Edit

This place is a nice surprise after all the generic (but otherwise cute) vegan places. Has a feel of a vintage yet hip restaurant & pub. The crowd is more diverse as well, since they offer meat dishes and alcoholic beverages (yay for wine!). I admire the idea as I believe food shouldn't separate us. Finding a place that satisfies both myself and my meat lover people is often problematic, if not impossible. I loved the charming and smart design of the menu, that helps with your selection according to your dietary preferences. The food was pretty good and definitely fresh and finally I was able to eat western(ish) style pasta that was gluten free. I give this place 5 stars for their diverse options and pleasant ambience.

Pros: Diverse options , Ambiance, Location

Cons: No gluten free desserts, Uncomfortable restroom location (low ceiling), Pay in advance

Cool place - Edit

There are numerous menus for all kinds of diets so it's a great place to visit with non-vegan friends! I visited with non-vegan friends and we were all satisfied with the food. Especially the perilla mushroom rice bowl was seriously too good!

Pros: great place to visit with non vegans, good food

Nice spot! - Edit

Very easy to find (and really close to Bauhaus dog cafe if your into that!). Friendly and welcoming staff. I had the vegan soymilk risotto on recommendation, not the best risotto I've ever had, but good size portion with a small side salad, loads of other options for vegans so do try something else. Really nice Lemon iced tea, really refreshing! The place has a nice atmosphere, relaxing and arty. I'd come again and try the vegan dessert next time!

Pros: The lemon iced tea

Cons: maybe choose another dish instead of the risotto!

I would give this place 5 stars if it let me. Love the spread out atmosphere and the selection of vegan dishes - easy to order with pictures and English descriptions. Free wifi. I had the mushroom rice noodle - it was served cold - tasted sweet and spicy. Came with a little salad and some pickled veggie dish. I'll be back!

Cool young place with delicious vegan servings - Edit

We had a lovely evening at this cozy cafe. We ordered one tomato tofu salad and one eggplant mushroom salad, and later took the liberty of ordering a vegan dessert (crumble cake) and soy milk lattes. The ordering was easy because they had an English menu which also marked the vegan options very clearly.
The salads were great and the coffees heavenly. They had other tempting options too, including noodles and rice dishes, which could better suit those who arrive more hungry. The cake was tasty but slightly too hard - make sure you eat it when it's served, or else it might get cold and harden.
I'm already planning to return there for a quality-time solo morning, accompanied by my laptop, a hot vegan latte, and most important - myself :)

Lunch at slunch factory - Edit

Found this place after it was recommended by a local shop owner. Awesome chill vibe, it had a few locals hanging around studying at the tables and lounge couches. Free wifi, the food was really well presented and tasty and there are a heap of vegan options (including vegan desserts) as well as vegetarian (these outnumber the meat dishes). Also a handwritten menu board above the counter but it was in Korean only so we ordered off the paper menu which had English. Serves alcohol as well. Would definitely recommend!

Pros: Chill atmosphere, free wifi, Excellent food, very tasty, English menu

Cons: Reusable wooden cutlery not as nice to eat with
