Friendly Service Fills the Gaps - Edit
Dipped into Slices while on tour with my band. I was surprised to find vegan pizza options in what felt like the middle of nowhere.
Read moreAll of the pizzas on the menu were meat heavy (except one vegetarian option). I opted to BYOP. Although confusing because they don’t have any of their available toppings listed, our server (also the co-owner) was patient with me while we talked through all the vegan options for toppings and I ended up building a damn fine pizza.
I was a lil bummed that they were out of a lot of items I wanted that act as flavor enhancers (like fresh garlic) but in the end nothing a little sprinkle of salt couldn’t fix.
Ambiance was strange but you could tell they’re working on it and the TVs in the dining area were placed in weird spots that made it difficult to watch the football game.
All in all I think that their friendly service fills in the gaps where I felt they were lacking.
Pros: Vegan cheese, Cilantro pesto , Big Salads with very fresh ingredients
Cons: Out of a lot of items , Weird TV placement

Pleased to have Vegan Pizza in Moses Lake - Edit
While ordinarily I would order a Pizza with no cheese and extra sauce I was pleased to find out Slices had a Vegan Cheese Option.
Read moreIt was creamy toasty and hit all the boxes I would expect from a Pizza place offering a Vegan Cheese option.
The only thing I would add and this would be my personal preference is the marinara sauce needed more robust flavor especially when its vegan we can taste everything bland or otherwise without the meat the sauce could use a little more pep. I used the crushed red pepper and that helped a little to add some flavor and spice.
I did enjoy that they had Gourmet soda, I had the black cherry cream although after reading the ingredients I wouldn't order the soda again.
But thank you for trying.
Overall I'm pleased with the Vegan Pizza and will be back!
Pros: Vegan Cheese, Fresh , Great crust

No "Slices" Here But They Do Have Good Pizza - Edit
Pizza was tasty. Thin, crispy crust. Good amount of toppings. They don't overdue on the vegan cheese, which, while probably an economical choice on their part, was a good thing for my taste. I'm sure they'd add more if you asked. Not a great beer selection (meaning they didn't have any amber ale). Nice environment for dining, casual yet special. Awkward TV/table placement for watching a game.
