I was attracted to Slice of the Burg due to the vegan options. When ordering I was told that the small size vegan pizza was available only with the cauliflower crust. So I ordered this with 3 toppings. The service was fast. But the pizza was thin and very unimpressive, and came at a high price.
Read moreAlso I was told it was vegan, when the crust had egg in it! Feeling not happy about this experience I phoned the store manager about it today. I learned that the cauliflower crust pizzas are NOT done in house and they can't control the high price or the ingredients. He apologized for the misinformation from the waiter, and he was very open to feedback. He also issued me a credit.
So long story short - avoid the cauliflower crust if you are vegan, and don't like to overpay. My previous experience of their in house vegan pizzas was excellent.

They have a separate vegan menu that includes garlic knots, garlic cheese bread, pizzas, calzones, stromboli and cinnamon knots with vegan icing. The portions are huge and everything I’ve tried so far has been tasty. The food is pretty greasy but it just reminds me of pizza take out, still tastes good!

My boyfriend and I got the vegan white pizza w/ pineapple and jalapeño, and the vegan garlic knots. Both were AMAZING! Garlic knots were a little on the drier side, but that’s just a personal preference that I like them a bit on the messy / oily side. Haven’t tried the vegan cinnastix yet but I can’t wait to!
