Bar atmosphere - Edit
Good place if you are looking for a bar atmosphere in the evenings. Has a good selection of vegan alcoholic drinks, but unfortunately I was not a fan of the vegan burger, as it was quite watery. Hopefully just an "off" day!

Too much alcohol, too little food - Edit
Nowhere in the description is it mentioned that this place turns into a bar with ONE serving left of ONE vegan option, which was a BBQ wrap, on the weekends (and after 7pm on the weekdays?). The wrap wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t anything exceptional taste-wise, and the portion was quite small and unsatisfactory. I had a good view of the large amounts of bottled alcohol above the bar and combined with the loud hubbub of this too full a place it made me want to finish quickly, leave, and go eat something to get full.

Variety choice menu, but only few vegan options. The breakfast sandwich was delicious. You get a glass of water straight after sitting down. Good choice of cakes (vegetarian). Great coffee too.

No weekend lunch options😕 - Edit
We wanted to get some lunch thought that we could have a burger as per the pics but unfortunately there was no burgers on the menu and from the 2 selections that were on the main menu are not served on weekends? (But you can have breakfast until 3pm???)
Read moreIn addition the place is too loud, might be a good place for breakfast, coffee or drink but there is NO LUNCH MENU on weekends! (See pic attached) For me that was a major failure and hence I wouldn't give this place a second thought.

Good cafe with vegan options and kind staff - Edit
The cafe is busy throughout the day but you can always find/book a table. The cafe has good interior, it's clean and the staff is very kind and helpful in explaining what they offer. The vegan options like wraps and bagels which we tried were delicious. Anyway as others suggested I'd be happy to see it fully vegan.

Really good coffee from local roasters, lots of drink choices and quite a few vegan options for all dishes (breakfast, lunch, dinner). When we visited there were three vegan cakes to choose from we tried a strawberry tart which was amazing!

Skøg is a mixture of a beautiful place, cafeteria, bar and vegan-friendly food. You can either have there delicious coffee with a friend and do your own work on laptop. The food is very yummy... every week day they have some daily menu and various gorgeous cakes🍰

My favorite café in Brno! - Edit
I always come here when I'm in Brno. They have vegan pancakes and an savory breakfast every day. For lunch, you can get a soup, bowl or a burger. Everything is vegan, but it is not marked or written anywhere so just ask to be sure that it's vegan. Serves great homemade lemonades and coffee with plant milk.

I didn't have a meal so I cannot review that but would love to confirm that their coffee is excellent and a plant based milk is available. The service is nice and they take orders also in the upper floor. Just pay at the bar. Nice ambience, intimate light at the evening. I didn't realize they had meals so I will come back.

In the evening hours this place has turned to be very sociable spot with cozy atmosphere - def worth to spend there a little more time than 10 minutes :)
What's sad is the amount of cow's milk sold inside. I strongly believe such a cool place as Skog will turn to fully plant based cuisine soon.fingers crossed

Best vegan burgers in the city - Edit
Skøg is a bar/cofé with offering several meals and cakes, most of them vegan. The place is always crowded and has a real atmosphere. I really like the industrial style. Their menu changes regularly and usually consists of a burger, hummus, salad or sone kind of a bowl and soup (not all of these are always on the menu!). The burgers are the best I know in Brno! I appreciate a lot that they are not served with fries! They have excellent homemade burger buns. They also specialise on cocktails and good coffee. Be prepared for mildly roasted fruity 100% arbica coffee (which I love, but a lot of people hate).

Skøg is a no-brainer for situation when I want to eat out and have something a bit healthier. It's nice that they always have a few vegan desserts (usually a few kinds of cakes - chocolate, banana, lavender) and some savoury dishes as well. I like their raw zucchini spaghetti (my favourite! So delicious!). They also have a really good hummus with veg and bread. Some burgers are offered as well but the burger I had wasn't for me😡it was good, but when I think of a burger, I want that junk food feel about it – it was simply too healthy for me lol. But it looked amazing😄I don't like the fact that it's very crowded.

Most vegan locations in Brno are closed on Sunday evening. But this one is open. It doesn’t have many options but all of them taste good.
