Tastes great - not healthy - Edit

If your committed to a truly clean vegan lifestyle this place is not for you.
They do a great business and the atmosphere is very energetic and inviting.
If you want to take your non vegan, or vegan junk food eater friends for a good time then go.
It is in a wonderful area of town. Right near the lake and park.
But if anyone is going there to eat healthy you will be disappointed.

Pros: Tastes great, Good social atmosphere , Ftesh

Cons: Essentially unhralthy, Try's to push itself as healthy, High prices

Nothing Vegan - Edit

I went to the Skinny Pancake in the Burlington airport. The menu had one vegan crepe and one veggie crepe that could easily be veganized. I ordered, but five minutes later, an employee told me that they were all out of the vegan chickpea batter they normally use and didn't have flour to make any kind of fresh vegan batter. Got a refund. Disappointed.

delicious gluten free and vegan crepes! - Edit

I had the chickpea batter option for my Nutella-filled crepe. The batter was a bit on the savory side compared to regular wheat-based crepe but it was delicious! It was so good (and so rare to be able to find crepes which are both vegan and gluten free) that I went back for the exact same treat the same day. Highly recommend it.

Pros: gluten and dairy free batter option

delicious but skinny on vegan choice - Edit

Skinny Pancake was an interesting place. There is one vegan crepe on the menu. We had to modify the fillings in the other crepes we ordered. The insides were still tasty and the crepe itself is delicious. There is also a few local beer selections and some Vermont Kicking Cow Cola for the kids. The endangered species mural on the way to the washroom was a hit with the kids and the big patio was enjoyed by all after a long bike ride along the lake!

good food and great staff - Edit

Got the chance to customize an order of crepe made from the chickpea batter. They actually messed up the order and, without me knowing, I ended up eating half of this. The waitress notified me as soon as she knew and replaced it offering anything else on the menu. The portions were large and food was quick.

Pros: quick food, great staff, large plates

A Few Vegan Choices - Edit

If you get a veggie monster less the cheese plus extra spinach, it is very good. They also have a vegan offering. Disappointed that their grilled red peppers come from a can.
