Stopped in for dinner as we were in the area for a meeting and the recs on HC were solid. The decor is really splendid, you get that Indian ambiance. We knew to ask for the vegan menu and the staff was very solicitous and accommodating Started with the potato and spice Tandoori bread and a vegetable samosa, both were fantastic. Next course was the Chana Masala and the Yellow Daal, both quite good but a little hot for us - we ordered the "medium" spice and that usually works for us ( we like a little kick but not to be overwhelmed). All in all, a really good option in an area that doesn't appear to have too many.

Great food with a full vegan menu upon request. I never get tired of the yellow daal. Just stay away from the weird green yogurt sauce that comes with the crackers, they always serve it and is not vegan.

Even though I told them I was vegetarian at the outset, (and despite the mention of a vegan menu in this listing for which I forgot), I did not realize they had a vegan menu until I spotted it after I was done eating and walking out the door. Be careful though, they apparently are not quite positive what vegan means versus vegetarian. It is for this reason alone that I must dock them one star.

They have a separate vegan menu upon request. I've tried most of the vegan dishes and have not been disappointed. The staff are very friendly.
