There is a generous amount of vegan options, all but one of the vegetarian meals could be made fully vegan on request (tofu replaces paneer). One of the top five best Indian meals I have had.

I recommend the onion salad, malai kofta and navrattan korma, the naan was better than many vegan versions that I’ve had elsewhere.
Pros: Great flavour, Nice staff, Broad range of options
Cons: Decor is a bit average, 3rd date not 1st date, Not cheap, but inline with other local options

We went exploring the Macedon Ranges on a pre-booked mystery weekend that included a picnic lunch and a hotel which left us to our own devices for dinner.
Read moreAfter walking up and down the main street of Woodend we saw Sizzler Restobar, had a gaze at their menu and were very excited to see all the Vegetarian meals could be made Vegan upon request.
They were very busy (great sign) so we happily sat outside by the heater the staff put on for us.
The curries were amazing quality and Garlic Naan was heaven. This restaurant was the highlight of our weekend! Definitely worth a visit.
Pros: Good quality food, Lovely staff
Cons: Long wait time BUT everything is made from scratch

The food was devine, cooked from scratch, not too oily, flavours for days!!
We will definitely come again but we may order ahead as we have small people and the wait for the fresh cooked food is a bit of a stretch for them.
Pros: Lots can be veganised, You can fully trust them to veganise the dishes, Very friendly owner

Really tasty food. Samosas & onion bhajas can be made vegan. All veggie curries can be made vegan except one. First 4 naans on the menu can be made vegan. Because everything is made from scratch, it can be made vegan. The problem with that is the food took forever to arrive!! We were so starving by the time we got it and then servings could have been bigger because we scoffed it. Next time would order more rice to fill us up & because there was more curry than rice.

Nice Indian option in the Ranges - Edit
Tasty, fresh Indian dishes. Majority of the Veg curries can be prepared Vegan plus a few starters, naan breads etc.
