Nice Local Restaurant with Open Kitchen - Edit
Had Pad Thai with tofu and fried eice with tofu. delicious! Spring rolls and shake I ordered were not available. Unfortunately, the veg optionshave to be selected from among all dishes and not clear, which are vegan.

Six friends - Edit
Six friends is an amazing restaurant with such friendly staff. Compared to other places here it's also so cheap!!! For 30.000 kip you have an amazing meal. (The tofu burger is a bit more expensive but really really good). I would definitely recommend going there and my only regret is not going there sooner!

The food's not bad, but there are other vegetarian/vegan friendly restaurants in Thakhek that are better than this one. Overall I found the dishes a bit boring and bland. They have a huge six-page or so menu so maybe I ordered the wrong things on two seperate occasions, but I'm not keen to go back and find out.

The menu is full of vegan options, I chose the yellow curry and the tofu fries which are basically fried tofu.
Read moreThe prices are extremely cheap but the portion sizes are also more on the smaller side.
The yellow curry was okish. I liked the taste of the sauce but it was an overload on onions in it. The tofu fries tasted good, they had a lot of salt on them that I love. They also gave me a little bowl of broth complimentary.
Unfortunately, they served the juices and shakes in plastic..

The whole atmosphere is amazing, the staff makes the whole experience, not the food.
