This meal, with wine pairing, was a learning experience. I was unaware food and wine could be paired to such great effect, unaware that tasting menus could be such a journey of flavour and fun, and unaware I could enjoy the whole meal experience so much! Really truly some of the best food I’ve ever had. Would recommend to everyone.

Confession: I’m an environmental vegan but occasionally go vegetarian as a treat. A vegetarian menu is a prime consideration Six; a vegan adjustment to the vegetarian set menu was offered, but declined as I’d already decided to have a naughty day. Some of the dishes with cheese were fantastic, but the cheese whilst not served in large quantities was a large part of the flavour profile, so I’m unsure how these dishes would’ve faired under vegan adjustment.

Serves a different 6 course tasting menu each month with vegetarian and vegan options. We had the vegetarian menu. Definitely on the more expensive end at £32 for the menu but good for a special occasion
