Limited Options

While I agree that there are vegan options here, if you don’t want a bowl you’re pretty much out of luck and even the bowl options are limited and need customizing. They usually have a vegan soup but you’ll probably need to be aware that you’ll need to modify it a bit (I.e. one option comes with Parmesan crisps). My first time here I was excited to try the avocado toast, this didn’t even work when I removed toppings because the bread isn’t vegan. Some of the staff can explain ingredients, some can’t and service tends to be slow and spotty. So overall I’m disappointed with this place. When they first opened I thought they’d cater a bit to vegans but thus hasn’t been my experience.

Pros: A couple of vegan options.

Cons: A bit expensive for what you get.

Awesome organic food

Sisu Eats is a vegan friendly, organic soup, salad, sandwich restaurant with an impressive menu. I built my salad from the ground up, selecting: kale, roasted broccoli, Brussel sprouts, fennel, kimchi, scallions, caramelized onion, dressed with lemon juice, vinegar and sriracha sauce. Was worried I broke the bank when I watched the counter person ring up each individual item separately. When my salad only came to $8 plus change, I ordered a tomato basil soup. Everything was fresh and delicious. While my counter server prepped my food I watched four people pick up lunches they had texted in. And the drive through window was up and running and busy. Restaurant was 3/4 full by 12:45 pm. Sisu Eats has quickly grown a customer base, which makes me glad. My only irritation is the lack of an oil-free dressing option. I would even settle for a low oil option, but my chef didnt know if there was one. So there are still growing pains. But its really great to have a whole foods organic option on this side of town. Incidentally, restroom was immaculate and I really like the three citrus-infused water options provided free. I look forward to returning.
