Uniquely tasty food options - Edit
I don't eat out too much and when I do I enjoy supporting smaller vegan and vegetarian places. The occasion presented itself when my dad had a family visit day at his workplace in Walnut Creek, and during our visit there my mom and I decided to have lunch with him at a vegetarian/ vegan place. After quickly searching in happycow, I found Sepios vegetarian and Roasted vegan restaurants at or near downtown Walnut Creek with very different but excellent menus.
Read moreI was in the mood for pizza and others in my family wanted soup. The varied Mediterranean dishes at Sipeos won my family and I over.
We reserved a slot through Sepios' system but I came there earlier. This was not a problem and the staff server there, (I believe her name is Sophie, but my sincere apologies if I got it wrong), was super sweet and helped us out all throughout including explaining the options in a very understandable way.
We all got the unique mango based gazpacho, which the staff server explained would be spicy and sweet, and which we found super delicious.
The small flatbread plate with dips and veggies also helped whet our appetite. The roasted red bell pepper based dip was especially flavorful and I would highly recommend.
Then we got the vegan versions of cauliflower shawarma pizza, the eggplant honey pizza, and the cauliflower skewers with rice and harrisa side (which was spicy exactly as described by the staff). All of them were super tasty.
The vegan version of pistachio cream cheese dessert was a delicious ending to our visit. There were other delicious options including soft serve which I had to shelve for a next visit.
My compliments to the chef and his team there for the timely and wonderful preparation of the meals catering to vegan options.
We also got a chance to meet one of the owners, Hetal, which was super nice. We had a nice conversation about his and his partner's core reason behind the Sepios name of the restaurant and he exemplified this by sharing the non alcoholic very low sugar or sugar free drinks collection he had in stock and allowing us to sample one of them, the Rosé.
Thank you Sipeos (Hetal and team) for the great lunch experience. Best wishes for your business and I hope to come here in the future.
Pros: Nice location (free parking, ambiance, seating), Unique menu items and drinks, Great staff and owner

Amazing food, friendly service, and beautiful setting - Edit
One of our members highly recommended Sipeos, so we held an East Bay Members Dinner in Walnut Creek. Sipeos @sipeos.co offers California-Mediterranean-inspired vegetarian cuisine features dishes like vibrant mezzes, crisp salads, artisan flatbreads, Mediterranean rice bowls, and smoky grilled skewers. Most dishes can be veganized. The creamy decadent desserts are all vegan. Incredible! Great food and friendly service. We enjoyed reconnecting with old friends and meeting new ones. We have been recommending everyone to visit Sipeos.

Delicious, nutritious and great staff - Edit
We were so pleased to be visiting from out of town and find Sipeos. We enjoyed the kind, helpful staff and comfortable outdoor seating. The small Mezze plate was a generous amount with 2 dips, flatbread and veggies. It was really fresh and tasty. My partner reports the Impossible Kefta skewer plate was also delicious as was my Mediterranean rice bowl. The unbelievably best part was the vegan chocolate brownie dessert. It was easily one of the best chocolate desserts we’ve ever eaten. We will definitely be back next time we’re in town. Thank you to the great staff who made our visit fun. I honestly can’t think of any negative aspect to our visit.

Loved it! But could improve in small ways - Edit
Sipeos was such a nice Mediterranean dining experience with plentiful vegan options. Almost every thing on the menu is vegan or can be modified vegan hence the pizzas they make, certainly an area of improvement for them in the future.
Read moreThe (3) vegan dips were certainly plentiful and rich in taste in their own unique ways. Not to mention the pita bread they give you, it is fresh and inflated. The fennel and citrus salad was the only salad that was inherently vegan so I decided to go with that. Salad was rich in fennel and citrus flavor while having fresh greens & avocado. An interesting but very tasteful salad. The impossible kefta was probably the highlight of that plate but everything else that came with that dish was great as well.
We opted for the vegan French vanilla soft serve with turkish delight topings. Such a great way to finish off the meal. I wish I had more of an appetite for a 2nd dessert because 3/4 of their dessert options are vegan.
For people who refrain from drinking alcohol (like me), it is such a welcoming place as there are plenty of 0.0% non alcoholic drinks on the menu that use such high quality ingredients and are made with a nice presentation. The N/A drinks are pricy at about $13-15 each but certainly worth the nice treat.

HCMex, thank you for your review and feedback! We’re excited to share that our Pinsa Pizzas are now available as a vegan option, using Daiya mozzarella for our cheese. We look forward to hearing guest feedback!
Read moreWe also apologize for the restroom situation. Unfortunately, there wasn’t enough space in our leased location to include guest restrooms. If/when we plan for future locations, having enough space for guest restroom/s will be a top priority.
We appreciate your support and look forward to your next visit to Sipeos!

Please switch Miyoko mozzarella. Daiya is quite possibly the worst vegan cheese out there 😭

Thanks HCMex! We've ordered the Miyoko mozzarella, Kite Hill Ricotta, and a guest recommended Costco's vegan mozzarella (which we'll try). Our plan is to carry 3 vegan cheese options for our Pinsa Pizzas so guest can select the one they'd like.

Delicious and uber-creative menu, food and drinks - Edit
All the dishes on the menu are super interesting, we wish we could have tried them all (at least the vegan ones!). All the dishes are either vegetarian or vegan (marked V on the menu). Great vibe, welcoming and excellent service from the friendly staff.
Read moreAlthough there are alcoholic wines and beers, they have an extensive menu of NA beer and wines, along with some great cocktails. I had the Expresso Marti-no cold brew cocktail which was outstanding, great taste and not too sweet.
The mezzo plates were really tasty and unique, with Tuscan White Bean hummus, Roasted Red Pepper Romesco (wow!) and Gastrique Braised Beets. Don't miss the fantastic vegan Soft Serve French Vanilla ice cream with Chocolate Tahini Sauce and Vanilla Salt. Consider doubling up on this one!
All in all, we'll be back soon to Sipeos, one of our newest besties.
