Vegan but wasteful - Edit
We really enjoyed our food here. I got the breakfast sampler which included a biscuit, two patties, and an “egg” with Daiya cheeze, for $15. My spouse got the Reuben. The portions were large and the food excellent. I was disappointed at the amount of waste generated as they only have plastic utensils and takeout containers even if you eat inside.

Lots of options and all vegan - Edit
We went here twice while staying in Portland for a few days and it was excellent both times. The reuben was really good and the burrito was tasty and gigantic. Also had the blackened tofu which was very good. The 2nd time we had breakfast sandwiches, which were a bit messy but scrumptious. The biscuits were especially good.

a safe haven in the middle of winter - Edit
super cozy little deli style restaurant where you can buy their spicy marinated tofu and sauces by the pint. They pride themselves in their biscuit gravy sandwiches. if you like comfort food that's sort of southern inspired you'd love this place. first time i had a vegan egg also?? very genuine vibes, don't expect it to be healthy, it's a place to pig out 😍😭😭 also their homemade chips are so addictive

Can’t believe how good! - Edit
Ordered the lentil soup special and though it tasted delicious! The seating is a little small and awkward, but they make up for it with amazing food and large portions. They have HUGE chips and the most divine vegan yogurt. It’s made out of tofu and tastes like ice cream, no kidding!!!

Yummy - Edit
The flavors are unique and tasty. Portion sizes are generous.
Read moreWe had the Don't Mock Me Rueben and You've Got Kale sandwiches. I was very happy upon taking the first bite, Delicious.
Staff was welcoming and friendly.
The sit down space is just OK. A few small tables and couches. Forget about that though, because the tasty food is the main attraction here.
We will return.
Pros: Flavorful, Generous portions, Everything is vegan

Amazing delicious - Edit
Stopped here today passsing through and having found the restaurant on Happy Cow. It can be super tough to find a whole food plant based restaurant on the road. Boy howdy, this was the jackpot! The French toast, burrito and muffuletta sandwich were spectacular. And the cake of the day was beyond words delicious,. Things are made for take out, but there are a few tables if you want to eat there. Great service. Wished I lived here and I would come often!

The food is very unique and very well flavored!! They have drinks, salads, soups, wraps, and a variety of really nice desserts!! FYI don’t confuse this place with the Silly’s restaurant, they are not the same.

All vegan, unique options - Edit
Tried the portobello hummus sandwich, HUGE portion, came with a side. I chose the black bean chips (amazing) and salsa. Was super tasty. My boyfriend got the "Mush" which was mushroom gravy, tofu 'egg' and a biscuit. He loved it, and normally is very picky about tofu. Overall a great spot!

Delicious!!! - Edit
The best Reuben and multigrain stuffed french toast! The biscuits and gravy and vegan chili were both exceptional. We all flipped over the layer cake - chocolate caramel and mint Oreo. We’ll be back!

Good food, ok service - Edit
I ordered the burrito which I must say, was fantastic. The burrito was huge, could easily feed 2-3 people and tasted amazing. Prices were great for the portion you are receiving but the service was ok. It took a good 20 minutes for a takeout order and the server was a bit rude but other than that, good place.

New Portland Vegan Cafe - Edit
We’ve been long time fans of Silly’s, so we were excited to try out their new vegan cafe. I ordered the Ruben with the Caesar pasta salad, both were delicious. My girlfriend ordered the Grain Mutiny Salad, which was also great. The food has a homemade quality, with generous portions and nothing beats their homemade cakes!
