CRAZY YUM! - Edit

Oh my gosh. This is so tasty! Portions are gigantic, but it is so good, you will make it fit. Tried the tempeh on toast, avocado on toast and took hummus on toast with me for a good lunch at bokor ๐Ÿ˜

Pros: yummie food, friendly staff

Cons: none

GEEEEEZ! This was gooooood! - Edit

Took a short TukTuk from out of town to here, was very easy to find and it seems the drivers know about this place( maybe due to its awesomeness?!)

The food... OH MY GOSH. Amazing! I had an espresso, a FULL POWER smoothie and the Tempeh on toast. Granted I probably didnโ€™t need to consum all of this (and of my girlfriends Avocado on Toast) but it was soooo delicious, all of it ๐Ÿ˜€

We came for breakfast and plan on returning for dinner ( lunch will be skipped due to exsessive consumption level)

A MUST MUST MUST visit if in the area.

Pros: Yum , Vibe, Menu variety

Cons: Touch pricey

Lots of vegan options - Edit

Plenty of vegan options, good service despite being packed and very hearty portions. We ordered the pitta and dips to start (amazing salsa and lovely soft, warm pitta), the spaghetti with creamy pepper sauce and the lentils with oyster mushrooms and broccolini. We also had the mango cheesecake. All were super delicious as was the ginger and lemongrass tea (you can maybe sub the honey for brown sugar to veganise).

Pros: good vegan options

We were there for breakfast, lunch and dinner during our stay in kampot. The food was delicious, it's just a shame that it's western and no khmer food. Felt a bit guilty, but still good food ;)

Cons: expensive for cambodia

WOW - Edit

This is the best restaurant in all of South Eat Asia. I stayed in Kamont for 2 weeks and nearly ate every meal on this menu. Every time leaving so full I could barley walk. The portions are HUGE and delicious. The price might seem high, but it is so cheap for the amount of food you get. The place itself is so cheerful, calming, and perfect. They have games and books if you want to relax for awhile and they also offer yoga in the morning!

Pros: everything!, portion size, so tasty

Lots of delicious vegan options - Edit

During our stay in kampot we went here three times because we absolutely loved the food. Tired of Stir Fried rice with vegetables we enjoyed the varied western kitchen. We tried three pasta dishes, the falaffels, a lentils dish, the tempeh sandwich, the raw cheesecake and the limeade. Everything was really delicious and vegan!
One of the founders gave us restaurant recommendations for Vietnam that we will definitely check out.
Furthermore you get as much drinking water as you need for free.
The dishes vary between 3 to 6 Dollars which isn't cheap but the portions are fulfilling so you don't have to order 2 of them like in the majority of the vegetarian restaurants we have been to.

Pros: vegan options marked, big portions , friendly staff

Very nice - Edit

Very nice place with good interiour and comfy outside seating. Lovely staff. Try the sandwich with tempeh, smoothie was also very good. The only thing is that they should inform that some ingredients are not available or be more cautious in the kitchen: veg curry with chickpeas had no chickpeas (was also overcooked and lacking spices), lebanese salad with coriander had no coriander and should have more herbs or at least some lime juice, bbq sauce was just a ketchup.

Pros: Big portions, Staff, Nicely arranged

Cons: Ingredients missing

Tasty, imaginative food - Edit

This restaurant, which also has a yoga studio upstairs, has a great vibe. Friendly service, good background music on the stereo, and the food doesn't disappoint!

It goes well beyond the usual veg suspects, veg fried rice etc, offering a range of creative and delicious choices. The mozzarella eggs are a great breakfast choice. The barbecue tempeh was very flavoursome.

I highly recommend.

Pros: flavoursome food, nice atmosphere

good atmosphere- nice food - Edit

Second time I've been in simple things. The cafe looks really nice. The food is good but not awesome (curry and spaghetti, hummus, raw "cheesecake"). Good amount of vegan options. Would be better if they served brown rice as well (not white).

Mouth-watering! - Edit

I've visited the restaurant several times during my stay in Kampot and really enjoyed my time there. After traveling in Asia for a few weeks I became a bit tired of Asian food and the Simple Things menu was like fresh air for me.

I liked everything I tried there, but my favorites were tempeh scramble and pasta with chilli and garlic. Simple ingredients, but the dishes were delicious!

The staff is very friendly. They will kindly answer all your questions about the food or local attractions.

Food made with love - Edit

I came for breakfast and ended up staying a few hours, so i had lunch as well :) the ambiance is lovely and the customers are my kind of people... Everyone was super chill and friendly... Nice way to spend the afternoon:)
Now to the food - the bread was amazing, the best i had in weeks! The peanut butter was creamy and the jam made of seasonal fruit (pineapple right now).
The pasta with garlic cream was also tasty, i just wish there was more cream :)
Yes, the restaurant is a bit pricy, but you get what you pay for! You can see that the owners really put their heart into this business and most of their items are homemade.

Pros: Delicious food, Cute shop, lovely ambiance, Friendly staff/owners

Cons: Maybe just a bit expensive

Excellent Food & Atmosphere - Edit

Many delicious vegan options, even our non-veg friends loved the food! Everything we tried was a good portion and very tasty. In particular, the fresh spring rolls and the eggplant rolls as appetizers and the raw cheesecake dessert - to die for! Simple but stylish decor and clean bathroom which is not always easy to find in Cambodia!
Thoroughly recommend :)

Pros: Varied menu, Good size portions & tasty, Friendly staff & nice decor

Cons: Cannot honestly think of any cons...

Excellent food!! - Edit

Me and my boyfriend came here for dinner today - creamy garlic pasta, veggie burger, spring rolls and hummus with veggie sticks. We found the place on Happy Cow and we weren't disappointed! The food was amazingly flavourful, so delicious. Vegan dishes are clearly marked with a green leaf. The staff is very nice as well. We can't wait to try out more dishes during our stay in Kampot.
