Lovely little cafe - Edit
This is a nice, eclectic cafe near the shopping strip in Yufuin. It's cash only, so set aside some before you go. There are a few vegan options, and I opted for something savoury. I got the soy bibimbap set which came with soup and a drink. It was a hearty meal.

Amazing place with vegan options. - Edit
This place offers good vegan food. I ordered vegan curry ,rice and soya chunks. It was delicious. The host is really kind and friendly. He is English speaking so it was very easy to communicate. We were also able to charge our mobiles over there. Overall a very pleasant experience. Highly recommended.

This is one of only two vegan options we found in Yufuin. Most of the dishes are not vegan but some can be made vegan for 300 yen extra. The spicy curry wasn’t really spicy, but it was good. Vegan scones were also good.

Finally found and authentic vegan Japanese food in Yufuin! Is 6 minutes walk straight from Yufuin station. A homey little restaurant that feels like a little heaven! There’s vegan meal, desert, coffee with oat mills options.

Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere - Edit
I had the the curry, a coffee and the scone. It was all very nice, the curry in particular. The waiter spoke English perfectly and was happy to alter a couple of the dishes to make them vegan. Would definitely visit again, I want to try the vegan pancakes.

We had the soy fried chicken platter which was incredible and all vegan (we checked with our server). Rice, miso soup, pumpkin, aubergine with miso paste, potatoes with salsa and crispy delicous chick'n.

Why does it only allow 4 stars? - Edit
This is 5 stars all the way! Delicious organic coffee, lentil curry, the best soy fried "chicken" I've ever had, and a spectacular warm banana scone served with maple syrup and coconut milk. So good. My wife bought a necklace there too, otherwise our bill would have totalled only 2700 yen. Highly recommended! We'll be back for sure.
